Felix's pov
Winter's my favorite season. All the snow dancing around, the way all the trees and other stuff look, and I get to hang out with my bestie, Katie. Although, if I'm being honest...... I like her more than a friend. She's just so fearless and beautiful. As I'm walking through the snow covered sidewalk, I hear faint crying. It couldn't be.... I turned to see Katie curled up and crying under a pine tree. I rushed over there and knelt down. "Hey Katie-cat what's the matter?" I mewed as she turned to face me. "Everyone keeps calling me a skunk and saying that I don't belong...." Katie murmured. I wiped her tears with my thumbs and smiled at her "You're no skunk, you're the cutest cat I've ever seen. Anyone who says different will have to face the wrath of Felix Clawstrome!" I joked and heard her giggles escape along with purrs of amusement. God did I love to see her happy. Her giggles made my cheeks heat up and I like that feeling.

Katie's pov
Felix always knew how to make me laugh. I've had a crush on him since way before the infection. I think it started in middle school, but I don't know if he feels the same and I'm afraid he likes someone else. "You're such an idiot!!" I chuckled and held my stomach from how much I was laughing. "I know, but you tolerate me." Felix joked. "I don't tolerate you, I enjoy you being an idiot. Sure, it may get you in trouble sometimes, but you never fail to make us laugh." I mewed and hugged him. I soon felt his arms wrap around my waist and a gentle kiss planted on my cheek. My cheeks instantly heated up. "Katie, can I be honest with you?" Felix hissed and I noticed him blushing. "Sure." I chirped "I like you much more than a friend. You're the bravest I've ever known, and I think you look more stunning than your sister. I love you, Katie-cat" He mewed and his face glowed red. "I love you too, idiot." I purred and returned a kiss to his cheek. Felix helped me up and led me to a nearby coffee shop. Soon I heard voices that I didn't want to. "So, the skunk has herself a magician boyfriend, and he's the famous Felix the Grand Clawstrome. I'm surprised he's able to tolerate your stench. I sure wouldn't." A female spat. It was Serena, my ex-bestie. "Leave me alone Serena.... Pick on someone you can actually get to." I hissed. "You don't talk to my bestie like that, Katherine Huntress." Glinda growled. Serena being the Siamese she is and her Greyhound henchwoman Glinda always picked on me. I'd try ignoring them, but it gets a bit challenging. I know Felix dated both, and it still kinda hurts to think about.

Felix's pov
Serena and Glinda, god did I hate those two. Especially since they were two women who I've dated in the past..... I regret it now, but I have Katie with me. "Lay off, she did nothing to you two." I growled and held my Katie-cat close. "Is that any way to talk to your exes? I thought you knew better, Clawstrome." Glinda barked. "Now, now. Let me do the talking." Serena hissed. "You think you can just forget about us and date this skunk? I thought you had higher standards." She snarled as her pupils sharpened into slits, and so did mine. "She is no skunk, and even if she is, she is the most beautiful, kind, and brave skunk I've ever met! She saved me from getting infected. However, I don't think your miniscule brains could handle such an ordeal" I growled. "Let's go, we don't need to be here." Glinda whimpered. "Fine! You may have won this time, but I will be back!" Serena snapped and walked away with Glinda. I turned back to Katie and booped her forehead with my nose. "Now come on, are we gonna get some hot cocoa or what?" I purred. "Yea! Let's go." Katie cheered as we stepped inside

Katie's pov
Oh how I loved this shop. They have the best hot chocolate, prove me wrong. The music filled my ears and I couldn't help but hum. It's my favorite song, but I didn't know Felix knew it too. We ordered our drinks and waited on an outside booth. The music still played, but it was just a tad fainter than inside the coffee shop. (The shop is Starbucks, btw). I actually started singing to myself, but didn't notice myself slowly getting louder. (Normal is Katie, italics is Felix, and bold is a duet between both of them. Also, play the song above).

I didn't expect the great magician himself to know this song. We hear clapping and notice our server bringing us our hot cocoa was amazed. "You two were great! How long have you two been together?" She asked. "Well.... this is our first date, but we've been friends for a while." Felix answered nervously. "A-and thank you, for our drinks." He added in with a stutter. Our server nodded with a smiled and walked back inside the shop. We turned back to each other and just giggled. We talked about random stuff and sipped our drinks. After that, I really couldn't leave without a kiss from him, and I think he thought the same, because he turned me around to face him, lifted my chin and pressed his lips against mine. Of course I kissed back and wrapped my arms around his neck while his paws found their way around my waist. It was magical, but it couldn't last forever. We pulled away and stared into each others eyes for a good while before parting ways. My sister met me at the door with a smug look. "So? Who got you smiling like that? Who are you with!? TELL ME NOW!!" Kitty yowled excitedly. "Well... I went on a date with Felix.... and I kissed him..." I murmured and my face grew red. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! I KNEW IT!!! I SHIPPED YOU TWO FROM THE BEGINNING!!!" She squealed in delight. "Yea, yea..." I hissed jokingly.

3rd person pov
Their future would not be set in stone, but they know one thing: "I don't know how to tell you how much I love you."
