🌩Budgey x Fem! Ghosty "Captain Overboard!" 🌩

Dis is also requested by TheSilverPaw1811. I don't usually make angsts so plz excuse me if it's crappy!

A raging storm blew over The Medora as the crew stumbled and panicked while trying to keep the vessel afloat. The captains, Budgey and Gobi did their best to keep the crew calm and logical. "This storm is nothin! We survived sea beasts that put up more of a tussle than this! Keep her steady, men!" The parrot cawed over the clapping thunder. "Ye heard her, landlubbers! Keep yer wits about ya! This storm be almost over!" Gobi snapped, agreeing with the captain next to her. Not too long after, a massive wave smashed into the ship, knocking Gobi off. "CAPTAIN OVERBOARD!" Kenneth cried as Budgey rushed over to the edge where she saw her friend struggling to keep afloat. "Gobi!!" Budgey squawked fearfully. 

Gobi dug her claws into the ship's hull, trying to climb back up, but she exhausted herself just trying to stay above the water that her grip was lost and she sank into the murky depths. "NOO! GOBI!!" The parrot screamed, scanning the water for any sign of the bear, but no luck. "I'm sorry, Cap'n.... She's gone..." Archie muttered sorrowfully before the captain broke down sobbing. "If only I did somethin' to help her..... She'd still be here..." Budgey croaked, choking down sobs. "Aye, but we can't dwell on it now... Gobi be fish food now, but she was the best captain to lead alongside ye. She won't be forgotten." Pepper interjected, placing one of his hooves on the bird's shoulder. 

"She'd want ya to lead the Medora by yerself." He added in. The captain only sniffled and wiped a few tears from her eyes. "Permission to hug ye, captain?" Bobby muttered. "Permission granted.." Budgey replied as her remaining crewmates all hugged their captain in comfort. She smile warmly, feeling blessed to have such loyal and kind crewmates. "Thanks, men... I don't know what I'd do without ye...." She sighed happily.

With Gobi

The bear washed up on a deserted island, unconscious and bleeding from her side. When she came to, her gaze shifted around as she struggled to keep her balance. Gobi placed an arm around the gash in her side, growling at the seething pain and whatever salt water was able to get in. "Where am I?" She muttered to herself and stumbled around the beach, looking for her sword. She found it, but couldn't pick it up. 

Her hand phased through the handle when she tried. "Huh? What in the-" She muttered to herself before taking a quick glance at her reflection in the water. Her legs were completely gone and she was missing an arm. "WHAT HAPPENED TO ME!?" She cried in fear. Gobi was dead, and her corpse laid beside her with the same afflictions; legs ripped from the torso, and her entire arm seemingly chewed off. 

Blood stained the sand and the water around, but she couldn't remember anything. All she did remember was sinking into the ocean, then seeing a few tentacles above her. "No.... I can't be dead.... can I? Budgey needs me..... I know she don't do well with separation, her anxiety must be skyrocketing right now.... Poor thing..." Gobi sniffled, hugging herself. She wanted to get back to the Medora, but she didn't know where it was or if it was still around. "I'm sorry, Budgey.... I hope yer doin well without me... I.....I miss you a lot, but I wish ye all the best." The ghost bear sighed before floating deep into the forest, never to be seen again.
