This is my version of my request to MAGCOOLCAT. Hope you enjoy this! Make sure you check out his acc and read his books! This is my version of what would happen. TW: this may contain instances of blood, violence, gore. Please skip this chapter if any of these trigger you. Read at your own risk and keep yourself safe while reading. Ik the video above has nothing to do with the chapter, but I just wanted to give you something to laugh at while reading this

Cool opened the door to see the hybrid and her son standing outside. "Thank you for coming on such short notice!" He said. "No problem. It's what friends are for, right?" Fox-Rat replied. The three kittens rushed out to see the hybrid once again. "Hi, Ms. Fox-Rat!" Kit mewed excitedly. Kitty and her boyfriend were ready for their date. "Don't worry, I'll take good care of them." Fox-Rat promised. "Ok, just keep them safe." Cool sighed, still slightly worried about his kits. "Honey, she's got this. I've heard from moms in Ravenhood that Likeanfoxrat is the best babysitter around!" Kitty purred to comfort the worried father. After a bit, the two left for their date and so begun the adventures. "So, where do you three wanna go?" T. T chirped. Kit, Kattie, and Cassidy looked to each other and slightly nodded before turning their attention back to the woman and her son. "Let's go to the arcade!!" They mewed in unison. "Great! I saw one that's a couple blocks away!" The hybrid nodded and whisked the children to the arcade. Once inside, the three kittens rushed to the claw machines, marveling at the prizes while Fox-Rat was getting the tokens. She walked back to the kids and snickered lightly. "Can you play?" Kattie asked, still in awe of the stuffed animals and such. "Am I the best detective at the Lucella Police Department?" Fox-Rat scoffed and inserted a couple tokens into the slot.

The claw moved to her command and grabbed a stuffed egg by the tag, but it still made it to the prize slot. She scooped it out and all the kids cheered. "You're good!" Cassidy cheered. "Why thank you, I played a lot when I was younger." Likeanfoxrat yipped, then Kit and Cassidy dawned confused looks. "How old even are you?" Kit mewed. "27. Why do you ask?" The hybrid shrugged. "You don't look a day over 16!" Cassidy yowled in surprise. "Mama, Kattie got herself stuck in one of the claw machines." T. T whispered. Now the search was on! "KATTIE! KATTIE COME OUT!" Fox-Rat called out, panic slowly rising. Then she saw a bit of familiar fluff and raced over with the rest of the kids in tow. "There you are! You scared me!" The hybrid panted, then saw that she was, indeed, inside the claw machine. "How the hell did you get in there?" She added in with pure confusion and astonishment. "Idk, I just wanted this fish plushie." Kattie shrugged and squeezed the plush she was holding. The hybrid's tail slithered its way in and stopped just in front of the small kitten, then coiled itself around her and the plush. Kattie lightly whimpered, thinking the tail will stab her, but it gently pulled her out and the plush was unharmed.

"T-thank you, Ms. Fox-Rat..." She stuttered, still a little afraid. "Anytime, and don't worry. I have full control over my tail, so it won't hurt you." Fox-Rat purred and pat the kitten on her head to calm her down. After a few more games, they all walked out of the arcade and headed to a fast food restaurant nearby. Fox-Rat noticed a familiar face when they got seated and their server came around. "Parasee? It's been too long! How have ya been?" She yipped and high fived him. "Doin ok, I was able to get this job to help Poley out!" Parasee replied. The kids ordered their food and ate well. Then they walked around in the forest near the park and got some ice cream. "Thank you so much, Ms. Fox-Rat!" Cassidy purred. "Of course, it's always a pleasure to see you guys!" Fox-Rat said, patting the kids on their heads. Then a gunshot alerted them, the kids now trembling in fear. "Kids.... Hide, now!" Likeanfoxrat whispered and all the children flew up into a nearby tree. Then two thugs approached the hybrid, their faces badly scarred. One held a revolver, while the other clutched an axe. "Where them kids?" The first one spat, aiming the gun at her head. "You do know you're holding an officer at gun point, right?" Fox-Rat hissed, claws shooting out from her fingertips. "Officer? You? Don't make me laugh~" The other chuckled. Fox-Rat smirked and kicked the revolver out of the first thug's claw and then disarmed the second. "You're never getting the kids.... I'll make sure of it!" The hybrid snarled. "We can either do this the easy way, by your cooperation, or we can do this the hard way... In which case there will be a higher chance the police will lose an officer." The first thug hissed, his pupils sharpened into slits. "I think I'd prefer the hard way, bring it on." Likeanfoxrat snarled and gripped her tail, pulling it in front of her. Meanwhile, the kids were watching the whole scene. "Why do those thugs want us?" Kit hissed quietly. "Best case scenario, we get sold online, worst case scenario, our bodies will be found dead in a ditch.... Mama won't let either happen." T.T replied in a hushed voice. The hybrid fought viciously, but the second thug was able to grab her axe and swung it into Fox-Rat's side.

She let out a hiss of pain before snatching the thug by her arm and kicked her in the stomach, sending that thug crashing into the first one. "We'll be back, officer! Just you wait!" Both thugs snapped before scrambling away. Once the adrenaline wore off, the hybrid clutched her side in pain, listening and sniffing around for anymore dangers. Luckily, the forest was safe once more. "It's alright, kids.... You can come out now!" She hissed in pain and they climbed down the tree and rushed to the woman's aid. "Ms. Fox-Rat! You're hurt!" Cassidy cried, noticing the blood seeping from her side and down her fingers. "I've been hurt worse, Cass..... Let's get you guys home, your mom and dad will probably be worried sick." Fox-Rat said and, through her pain, got the kids back home safe. "Now it's time for bed." She muttered, looking at the starry night sky. "But we're not... *yawn* tired..." Kit hissed, but all of them yawned. Fox-Rat tucked them into bed and decided to read them a story. Once she was done, the three kittens were fast asleep, but she was also feeling slightly drowsy. "Mama, shouldn't you get that wound checked out?" T.T whispered with a slightly tired and trembling voice before he soon fell asleep on her chest. "Later, my son...." She muttered under her breath. Fox-Rat also fell asleep in the chair that was next to Kit, Kattie, and Cassidy's beds. Cool and Kitty came home not too long after, and saw their kids sleeping peacefully. Kitty noticed the new plushies the kids were holding, then she smelled something off. "Babe... There's something wrong..." She murmured and gestured to the hybrid. Sure enough they looked on her side and noticed a huge gash. Fox-Rat woke up a bit later, due to a surge of pain. "Owww....." She grumbled under her breath, then noticed bandages over her wound. "So, how are you feeling?" Kitty mewed and put away the first aid kit.

The hybrid winced and stood up. "Thank Minitoon you're ok! What happened?" Kitty yowled. "Some thugs thought they could take the kids..... I gave 'em a piece of my mind!" Likeanfoxrat spat. "Well you didn't have to get yourself hurt!" Kitty protested, but the hybrid shook her head. "I'm an officer, plus these kids have a life to live and I promised you and Cool that I'd keep them safe." She replied, shaking her head. "Thanks again... We don't know how to repay you." Cool interjected. "No need, I enjoy looking after the little munchkins and I would do it all over again." Likeanfoxrat admitted. "Before you go, make sure to not work too hard and let your side heal. Ok?" Kitty warned. "Ok." The hybrid sighed and walked out with her sleeping son in her arms. She then took to the skies, not to be seen again until next time. Kitty then turned to her boyfriend and scoffed. "See, baby? I told you she was the right choice!" "Yea, yea. Now get over here~" Cool purred and pulled Kitty in close, she giggled slightly. "Let's get to sleep, dear. I'm sure the kids would love to tell us what happened in the morning." She said in reply. "Fine.... But that doesn't mean I'm not getting my kiss~" Cool huffed then both shared a quick kiss before heading off to their room and to bed. No one knows why the thugs wanted the kids, but someone sinister and close to home was behind all of this....
