Someone was squatting in front of the mart. It was a hyung I have never seen. He was playing with Dong-i. He patted and gave something that looked like a bread. Then we made eye contact. Surprised, I looked forward and continued to walk.

I hid in the alley and looked out. "Ugh. Who is that?" I put my hands in my pocket and touched the plastic bag that I put ham and toast. "Ugh. I went through trouble secretly having leftovers without my eommeoni knowing."

"Taehyung-ah! You came! But why are here like this? Didn't you come to play with Dong-i?"

I jumped up out of surprise. It was the market owner. The hyung from before raised his head up and looked at me. Ugh. Because of ahjussi, I already got caught. So I walked towards hyung. "Hyung, who are you?"

"Me?" Hyung looked at me with a look that he didn't know what to answer.

"Why are you playing with Dong-i?"

"Huh?" Again, hyung didn't say anything.

That's how I started talking with hyung. "My abeoji said he's going to earn a lot of money and move to a big house. He's going to let me raise a puppy. I'm going to take Dong-i and live together. So hyung, don't get any troubles of wanting."

Hyung nodded and said, "That's good for you."

"Hyung, does your family don't have money? Is that why you can't have a puppy?"

With my question, hyung look at me and said, "Money?" Then, he shook his head and answered, "I can't have a puppy."

"Try whining to your abeoji. My eommeoni said that appadeul are weak with whining."

Hyung just shook his head and patted Dong-i, then mumbled, "Lucky."

I asked again, "So hyung, who are you? What is your name?"

Hyung answered without turning around, "Kim Seokjin."
