Another year had passed and here we are walking in the aisle.

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered together here, in the sight of God, and in the presence of these witnesses, to join together this man and this woman in holy matrimony. Which is an honorable estate, instituted by God."

The minister announced.

"Into this holy estate, these two persons come now to be joined. If any here can show just cause why they may not lawfully joined, let them know speak, or else hereafter forever hold their peace."

Napalunok ako at itinuon na lamang ulit sa harap ang atensyon ko.

"Be well assured that if these solemn vows are kept inviolate, as God's word demand, and if steadfastly you endeavor to do the will of your heavenly Father and earthly mother, God will bless your marriage, will grant you fulfillment in it, and establish your home in peace."

I sighed and blaming myself now, hindi ko alam kung anong muka ang ihaharap ko sa kaniya.

"Will you please, both stand." Sabi ng minister sa dalawang ikakasal.

"Neil Almuete, do you take this woman to be thy wedded wife, to live together in the holy bonds of matrimony? To love her, comfort her, honor and keep her, in sickness and in health, and forsaking all others, keep the only unto her as long as ye both shall live?" The minister asked.
