3rd person pov

Everyone filed into the court house Harry trailing behind his lawyer in one of his newest Gucci suits with a delicate, faint white foral pattern over navy blue silk

Alexis behind him in a matching dress knee length with a square cut neck she paired it with white quarter length shirt under it to hide her tattoos she had their baby on her shoulder

Nelly was also wearing a navy blue dress with white flowers

Alexis was granted a chair to sit beside the table but Harry and his lawyer had to stand

This was Edward's trial and it should be the last day they've been arguing for 3 days now and this was the 4th

Harry had all his charges dropped because he had clearly acted in self-defense

Harry and Alexis turned watching Edward being guided in he was a bit disheveled looking he had posted bail to avoid jail but he was obviously struggling a little with the situation

He still had a bandage on his temple from where 'Harry' hit him

He was also granted a seat while his lawyer stood

"case Styles vs Styles" the judge announced and looking through the file briefly getting an overview

Harry's evidence:
•It was proven by Harry's lawyer that Harry's father was the only one with his code ,beside himself

•Harry presented texts, emails, and voice messages of his father expressing his 'dislike'  for his girlfriend

•The 2 men who tried to hurt Alexis were brothers who did in fact know his father and willingly testified to that under oath

•the knife in his hand, he was still clutching it while the police arrived

•and Harry's personal favorite- he continuously lied about who hit him, of course he'd blame Alexis he wants the worst for her

Edward's evidence:
•of course criminals would give him up for a shorter sentencing

•the knife was for protection was acting in self-defense against Harry (his lawyer refused to let him blame Alexis because no one would give him sympathy the lawyer thought it was better to admit Edward changed up his story than to convince the jury the woman cooing over her newborn baby could have attacked him)

•there's no footage saying he wasn't invited into the house

The judge nodded and closed the file "so your prosecution is fighting for 30  years for trespassing, breaking and entering, aggravated assault, and attempted murder am I correct?" he said lowering his glasses

"Yes your honor" Harry's lawyer answered

He looked at the defense "closing arguments"

"Your honor, ladies and gentlemen of the jury simply put- just because you don't like someone doesn't mean you want to harm them" he looked toward the jury "Ms.Dixon had just given birth to his first granddaughter and he wanted to reconcile so he could be part of that child's life things were blown out of proportion" he had his hands mime an explosion

"an argument ensued but nothing was ever done to harm her or the baby when Mr.Styles returned home due to camera failure ,that was not his father's fault" he said stepping closer to the jury making more excessive hand motions "a fight started he tried to defend himself and well you can see the harm done to my client" he waved  to Edward who tried to subtly move his hair to show off the bandage "all of this is just an over-dramatization"
