87|Back Where We Started

Harry's pov

I was impatiently waiting for Alexis to get here

Alexis and I had both promised that she would bring the baby in so people could see her and so they could see Alexis ,more than a dozen people came to ask me where Alexis was (it happened at least once a day)

Nelly had made a month so we both felt it was safe enough to bring her in now

I sat up straighter hearing some commotion outside my office, that's gotta be my girls

I got up and stepped out sure enough there was a large group in the middle of the walkway surround Alexis and the baby stroller

Compliments flooded from all directions and Alexis was beaming with pride her cheeks flushed her smile was so wide her dimples were exposed

I heard someone ask "Is Mr.Styles the father?"

How could someone not know we were together? Shit it's not like we're hiding it anymore and I will admit to a fair amount of PDA

I stepped around the group and came up behind Alexis wrapping my arms around her giving her neck a kiss "kept me waiting long enough" I grumbled lowly

"I had to stop on all the floors so everyone could see Nelly" Alexis giggled she put her hands over mine "look baby that's the blanket I've been making for her I finished it just before we left home" she pointed saying it very excitedly

"It's perfect" I nodded looking at the knitted blanket that was pastel rainbow flowers "you're very talented" I cooed kissing her cheek

"Aww thank you" she cupped my cheek pressing her cheek to mine

Marylin reached in "please don't touch" Alexis caught her I looked at Marylin with a scowl daring her to keep going

"Oh I'm sorry" she took her hand back "I was just going to-" she pointed to where the blanket had gone up over her face a little

"I've got it" I reached in pulling it down

"Thank you, I just don't want anyone touching her while she's so new" Alexis explained politely

Which is more than I would have done, you should know better than to touch a new baby It's fucking common sense

I now wanted to take Nelly away from the crowd since my employees wanted to act so carelessly

Alexis grabbed my face she smiled meaning she wants me to calm down I continued to glare expressing my extreme displeasure she pecked me lightly and turned back

"Sorry guys sorry" Alexis announced "Mr.Styles has to get back to his desk and I did come here for him so we're gunna go with him, but don't worry you'll be seeing her again" Alexis chirped happily

There was a few whines and grumbles but the crowd dissipated

I walked Alexis to my office and held the door open so she could push the stroller in I picked up Nelly taking her new blanket with her and sat in my chair patting my lap so Alexis could come sit

She smiled and took a seat wrapping her arms around my neck leaning against me I kissed Nelly's head then turned and kissed Alexis

"I think I'll let you come back to work soon" I hummed putting my hand in the curve in her side

She sat up straight "yeah?"

I nodded chuckle lightly "yeah I think you're going stir crazy"

She giggled "I am thank you" she laid her head on my shoulder one hand on my chest and one behind me curling a piece of my hair on her finger "we can just bring a crib and some diapers n such here" she hummed

"And your office is fairly sound proof as we have tested" I chuckled

"Mm" she hummed kissing my jaw "know what's funny?"

"What's that?" I asked rubbing up her side

"everything started in your office and now we're here talking about bringing our baby into the office" she smiled "isn't that crazy?"

I nodded "yeah you're right that's a full circle" I grinned "I vividly remember your first day, you came around my desk and took over my computer" I laughed

We both heard an alert on our phones Alexis pulled her phone from her skirt, It was a security alert that Mrs.Short had gone through the living room

I had given her the code and now she could watch the video feeds as well

She laid her phone on the desk next to mine "you loved it" she smirked "but this is all because of your company" she cooed "my successful business Baby" she kissed my cheek

"Our company" I hummed quietly

She tilted her head "what?"

I smiled laying Nelly on Alexis's lap I took her left hand off my chest "I'm so excited for our date tonight" it was our first date in awhile and I planned on making it extra special

"Is Mrs.Short staying with her or is Brandie taking her?"

"Well the argument ended with them both watching her"

I furrowed my eyebrows "what?" I frowned

"Well Mrs.Short wants to spend time with Nells and Brandie already took off work she said she also really doesn't mind our house" I laughed

"Alright" I rubbed my thumb over her knuckles "I love you" I kissed right over her ring finger

"I love you" she smiled "speaking of our date" she started "are you going to tell me what we're doing?"

"No because I told you it was a surprise and if I told you what it was then that wouldn't be a surprise now would it?"

"It'll be surprising if you told me" she grinned

"Not telling" I shook my head "I will tell you what to wear"

"Okay what should I wear?" She tilted her head

"Wear your favorite dress"

"My favorite... long? short? Cluby? Classy?" She frowned

"No none of that matters just wear your favorite dress"

"Mm okay... and heels?" She cocked an eyebrow

"You can wear heels"

"Oh okay so we're not walking anywhere" she mumbled I laughed she was still trying to decipher what our date would be

I looked down at her hand

Really all I could think about is how good she'd look with the wedding ring
