Dont fall in love to quickly

Edric's POV:

I watch hunter walk into back into the library.

I went back to being sad, before hunter came rushing I felt was stresses and sad I tried to read my favorite book but it didn't help.
But when he came out he made me happy talking to him it was like he got me even though we didn't talk long.
I decided to help him with whatever he needed.

I grab the book and rush into the library.

I look over to see Hunter and Amity talking.

Amity seemed pretty annoyed while hunter seemed angry.

I soon realize that their  arguing.
Amity starts screening at hunter while snatching something out of his hands.
I decide to help Hunter out, maybe he'll start wanting to be my friend.

"Woah mittens lay off the guy"
Amity looks back at me with her face redder than before.

"HE'S A THEIF HE'S SAYING LUZ TOLD HIM TO GET THIS BOOK THAT I TOLD HER TO GET".

Amity started waving her hands in the air while talking.
" I AM NOT SHE REALLY SAID THAT".

"UGH EDRIC TELL HIM TO GET OUT"

I didn't know who to believe but I know for sure that Hunter would want to be my friend if I helped him.

"Mittens don't you think your being harsh on Hunter"

" oh gosh you know his name"!
Her face turns redder than before.

I see Hunter with a surprised look on his face.

" sister how bout you text Luz on your scroll and find out that way".

I'm pretty sure something happened between them two and Amity just didn't want to believe Hunter but she did it anyways.

I turn to look at Hunter to wink at him.

He looks away looking annoyed.

I turn back around, sad, I was sure he'd want to be my friend  now.

"Ugh fine have the book"

Amity threw the book at Hunter before storming off into her little room.

I feel a little thump on my head.

I see Hunter looking up at my hair looking angry.

Hunter grabs the thing on my head.

He had the little red Palisman in his hands.

" i-im sorry about that"

I chuckled while petting the birds head.

Hunter snatched the bird away from me.

" oh I'm sorry"
I look down the ground again wondering what I did wrong.
"Oh uh sorry I'm not used to people".

I look back up at him looking sad.

" it's fine really" I smile at him but he still seems a bit mad.

He stomps out of the library without saying anything.

He kinda reminds me of the golden guard that caught me this morning.
