It had taken Luar-ke Halkrath three turns of the planet before he finally arrived at what used to be the not so storm clogged beach.

"You are kidding me!" He grumbled to himself out loud, shaking his salt drenched tresses to try and rid them of as much liquid as possible, to no avail.

He looked up at the dark grey blue storm cloud with a slight click of his mandibles, his little bag on his hip felt like a blob of slime and Luar-ke Halkrath felt like he had morphed from a yautja to a little hill of wet sand.

It was horrible...

Why did he think this was a good idea?

Now he only had a few choices, head back the way he came, through the pouring skies back to the dryer dto or find shelter and wait out the storm so he could collect some shell as he had originally planned to do when he got here.

Option two sounded better, plus he would get out of the rain and become a lest somewhat dry.

'Yes, option two is what I shall do' Luar-ke Halkrath though, turning left towards the small cliff face that seems to house a small cave.

The short walk to the cave felt like walking through quicksand, the rain battered Luar-ke Halkrath into the ground as the sand clung to his legs like tree sap, it had taken way to long for him to tread the distance but once he felt the hard stone at the foot of the cliff, he was quite glad he was not walking back the way he came in this weather.

The small dark, cool cave only extended a few lengths back before it ended in a dead end, he only needed space to stay dry.

Or at least not be sitting in a hurricane.

Luar-ke Halkrath wonder further into the cave until he ran into a small still rock poor, with a quick glance he looked away. His clawed hand tapping the small wolf creature hanging to the black leather necklace around his neck.

He hated looking at still ju'dha ...

It was not because he was afraid of his refection or ju'dha...

It was just his dekna {Eyes/Eye} ...

His left dekna was a pail ice blue with a normal pupil but his right one was a dark orange-red colour with a slit pupil, he could still see out of both dekna, but one was just different.

The memory of how he got it insulted his head but Luar-ke Halkrath refused to think of it, he would never bring up that horrible memory.

Ever...

He turned his head back towards the storm clogged sky, closed his dekna and inhaled a large gulp of air, counted to ten before breathing out a sigh.

Calm...

Yes calm...

He was not hulij-bpe {crazy} or s'yuit-de {pathetic}.

He may be only 4.6 feet tall but there was nothing wrong with him.

It was the other yautja's fault for not liking him...

He didn't need to act normal for there liking, he needed to act his version of normal for his own sanity.

Luar-ke Halkrath turned from the roaring ocean waves back towards the inside of the small cold cave but as he did so his dekna picked up on something far out in the storm, he turned to swint out at the sky to see what it was.

At first, he didn't know how or what had coughed his attention but as he stepped closer to the now waterfall strength storm, he realized the thing that he was looking at.

It was a ship...

A yautja ship by the unique shape of it...

Yautja.... Ship...
