(Luar-ke Halkrath POV)

Luar-ke Halkrath had been tied to a sturdy, living tree further up the stream by Than-guan thar'n-dha, who was now arguing with the other two about whether they should kill him.

HOW FUN

It had gone from midday-ish to full on night-time during their argument.

His chest still felt like it was about to explode due to all the running and he didn't think that it was possible for him to escape if he even got the chance.

'Ill have to wait for something to attack them and cause a distraction' He though sadly, watching them fight and argue slightly further away.

The largest of the females was yelling about how she believed it was a better idea to just dispose of him now and not bother letting him live another day.

While the middle mei-jadhi was arguing to keep him to find out how he could 'control' creatures as if he was a test subject.

Not something he wanted to endure again.

He was not a fascinating beetle to study.

While the one named R'ka tarei'hsan could not seem to stop looking at him with her sparkling starry dekna, she only looked away to support letting him live before looking back at him again.

Why was she all sparkly dekna? Luar-ke Halkrath had no idea.

"Chuckles, you would not be in this situation if you listened to meeee, Moonshadow"

The voice spoke up again, he could feel whoever they were grinning in his head, and it was creepy.

'WHO ARE YOU?!?' He asked the voice, wiggling around the rope that kept him tied up.

Nothing, he could not move still...

How annoying...

"TE HE, wouldn't you like to know?"

They replied with another question.

'Im the one here asking the questions voice in my head!' He retaliated, blinking and looking back to where he could see the females yelling so loud that he bet their clan could even here them from here.

A long multiple legged reptiles like creature fell from the branches above and landed on Luar-ke Halkrath's head.

It turned around thinking angry thoughts about how it was so close to catching his meal only to fall on some monstrosity.

How rude.

"Lets just say I'm someone you know quite well"

The voice finally answered Luar-ke Halkrath after a long pause.

'What are you talking about? No one I have ever meet sounded like you, not to mention THEY COULD NOT TALK TO ME IN MY HEAD!' He was getting annoyed, all this talking in his head was also giving him a headache.

'I bet your just my imagination!' He continued, 'Ou no! He has gone insane, hasn't he?'

The reptile scurried back up the tree after an eternity staring at Luar-ke Halkrath's captors scream and yell at each other about keeping the yautja bloodlines free from unless runty scraps.

He didn't know if he felt insulted by that comment but really, he knew it was true non the less.

About the runtiness to be clear, he was not remotely interested in having any pups.

"How funny, you think you're going insane now? When where you are not insane?'

"I can tell you when but if I do you must LET ME OUT!"
