Beam's father's surgery scheduled one week later.
Phana is already there at his parents house to help them whereas Forth taking care of Beam and once after finishing flag capturing event and other things he would bring Beam to meet his parents.

Beam was down thinking about his father and Forth did all those things to distract Beam.
