Shaurya somehow gathered his conscious and asked, "tum ye hospital ke time se janti thi aur tumne kisko nahi bataya?"
"Kisko batati? Aap sab Anokhi ko lekar pareshaan they...aur Bhalla's ko batake aur unki tension kaise badati! Aur agar bata diya hota toh kya koi karta...papaji aur taiji baat ko palat dete !"
Aastha got up and went towards Shaurya and told him that his and Ahir's doubt was right! Shaan and Kanchan who figured out that there were doubts on the family and hence Ahir was not revealing anything to them or had come with any news.
"Maa kyu maa? Mere anokhi ne kya kiya tha inka?"Shaurya looked at his mother with tears.
"Anokhi ne inke rutbe ko lalkar tha Shaurya bhaiya...wo sab unke niyam ke khilaf hai...jabse anokhi aayi hai wo apne liye lad rahi hai...barabari ke haq ke liye...and she doesn't fit in the Sabherwal bahu criteria...wo padhai kar rahi hai, wo independent hai ,job karne wali hai aur apne haq janti hai...jo iss ghar mein ek bahu ko kabhi nahi milta! Wo anokhi ko daarane chahte they...par shayad wo jante nahi they anokhi daarti nahi hai aur haath se baat nikal gayi!"Kanchan said.
"Ab aage kya karna hai?"Shaan asked.
"Ab aage sach ko bahar Lana hai dad! Badi ma aur chachu itne gir gaye Sabherwal ke naam ke liye...ki unhone apni ghar ki bahu ko hospital paucha diya...na uske consequences soche aur na hi ye socha jab baat mujhe pata chalegi tab kya hoga!"Shaurya looked determined to get the truth out and asked them to act normal .
As Shaurya entered his room to see Anokhi still unconscious Rama had been sitting for a long time..he asked to rest for a while. As she left he sat near her and remembered all the incidents and then what just had happened..and tears trembled out of his eyes.
Devi came into his room and he hadn't realized it. She spoke and Shaurya's tears turned lava and anger in his eyes were visible..but he controlled himself. He smiled and looked at through his glasses!
"Badi maa..aap yaha! Kaise kuch kaam tha?"
"Aise kyu baat kar rahe ho tum mujhe apne bete se milne ke liye bhi puchna padega ab? Aur waise bhi panditji ne pooja ka dhaga diya hai anokhi ke liye..wo thik ho jayegi jald hi...pata nahi kiski nazar lagai hai tumhe aur is ghar par..."
He clenched his fist as hard as he would. He smiled and asked, " badi maa aur agar nazar kisi ghar wale ne lagai ho toh usse kaise uthar they hai?"
She was taken aback with that statement.."ye tum kya keh rahe ho Shaurya beta?"
"Nahi bas puch raha hoon.."
She smiled uncomfortably , while he drank his anger and as she went from the room he locked his room and broke down! Sat near his anokhi and apologized for not being able to protect her from his own family !
As he planned to expose Alok chachu and Badi ma in their own way and confess their crime. He sat their thinking about how much venom has his family against anokhi and working women! Why do they hate her? What has she done? Why do they think I wouldn't know about their deeds? They didn't think about me for once? Why is my happiness always being attacked phele maa gayi thi uske baad jab anokhi mili itni mushkilo se tab ye hua? Mere sath hi aisa kyu? All these questions ran in his mind..yet he promised to make sure to get them punished as next time anyone would think 1000 times before even having an idea to harm Anokhi!
In the evening
The thought of what he saw happened with Anokhi in the morning wandered in mind and played on loop and with that video the audio of his own family members involved in this and acting as if nothing happened made him feel disappointed and disgusted about them and himself being associated with them!
He had no clue how would he face anokhi or her family after the truth was out! Tears started to soak his cheeks. And a gentle hand was kept on his shoulder and it was Shaan! As he turned around to see his father standing and his wife who was still unconscious made him even more sad and angry.
"Dad kya galati thi Anokhi ki? Just look at her...jee rahi hai...par jaan nahi hai...aapko pata mein usse haath legena gaya and she yelled and flinched...badi ma and chachu ne ek baar nahi socha uspar ya mujhe par kya betegi? Kya mein aur anokhi family nahi hai? Haar baar mein sukoon aur khushi ke pass pauchta hoon aur dusre second Sab khantam ho jata hai...shayad kuch kami hai mujhe mein ya mein hi manhus hoon...hamesha aisa hota hai...mujhe apni loyalty, pyaar ,care sabit karna padhta hai...ek insaan mila tha jiske samne Shaurya Sabherwal nahi ...bas Shaurya tha..jo pyaar kar unconditionally koi sharat nahi...usse bhi..." and he broke into his father's arms.
Shaan had allowed him to speak his feelings but the hurt that was caused due to his ignorance all these years or the fact he was never Shaurya around them...shook him from what he or the family had done to that 4 year old!
Wiped his tears made him sit and told him something that he should have done before.
"I know I have failed you as a father...na mein tab tha ja tumari maa ghar chodkar gayi thi na mein tab tha when you needed me in all those lonely nights ! Mein apne dukh mein itna ghum hogaya tha ki mein sab ko ignore kar diya! Aur jab sambhala khudko tab Anokhi ke liye...to be honest noor ke liye...anokhi noor ke liye special thi aur jo uske kareeb tha mujhe usse kareeb rehna tha...bahut selfish hoga tha mein...ki ye tak Nahi dekha mera beta bhi ussi dard se guzar raha tha...I'm sorry apne dad ko maaf kar do! Aur ab jab sab thik ho raha tha tab mene Anokhi ke se kiya hua wada bhi nahi nibhaa paya...dekho uske sath kya hua...aur wo bhi mere khudke family ne ...but ab sab khatam hota hai ab...aur kisko khelne nahi dunga apne bacho ki zindagi se...you'll have to promise me one thing Shaurya..." Shaurya who always wanted his father got in the unexpected manner and promised his father...
