Mikasa "When did that happened?"
Shinshinjane "Whoa, take it easy lady. You look like someone who's going to murder somebody."
Mikasa "Did this actually happened?"
Mikasa did not deny the hostess' comment, for she was persistent on Eren falling for another girl.
Mikasa 'When he should have been falling for me.'
Eren "I don't belong to anyone, Mikasa! I choose who I love, you don't control me!"
Jean "Don't yell at Mikasa! You-"
Eren "She's just a person I saved and later became part of the family. I just wish she didn't fall blindly in love over me."
That kind of shut Jean up, but it made him more frustrated at Eren's tactless brute honest answer. It's even worse because the girl in question was crying.
And Eren doesn't feel bad about it.
Okay, maybe a little. But still.
Jean doesn't know if he wants to punch him or silently cheer for a chance to have Mikasa as his girlfriend.
