Optimus turns into this and, has control over shadows, although he doesn't like to use his power when he's fighting and I'm going to add tail spikes to his tail, like a stegosaurus

Prologue: Pain, that was all they both felt with the occasional prick of a needle, injecting primus knows what into them
"I'll get us out of there Orion I promise".
Optimus shivered at the memory. He still felt the needles pricking his proto frame from time to time.
"-imus OPTIMUS, are you listening?" Flinching, he snapped out of his thoughts he looked ratchet
"yes old friend"
" Optimus way did you flinch when ratchet called your name? you've never flinch before," asked Raf
" just an unpleasant memory"
"It must be bad if it makes you flinch" stated Jack
"you don't know the half of it" muttered Optimus.
"As I was saying, Optimus I just located the Nemesis," said Ratchet "Autobots roll out". /time skip, 30 min./ They were on the flight deck with cons in front and open sky behind.
"It looks like your Autobots are trapped but you can fly away so, why are you not. I would" " that's the difference between us, I don't abandon my team"
"Lord Megatron are you alright," asked knock out
"I am fine" growled Megatron
"then why are you saying that Optimus, a grounder can FLY away?" Megatron looked at Optimus who slowly nodded with uneasiness. With a roar, Megatron fell forward. His face grew into a snout, from his shoulder blades wings came forth, he then had a bladed tail, and throughout the entire time, the sound of metal cracking and shifting rang through the flight deck. Once he was done he stood up now looking like a dragon that stood on its hind legs. (pic above)
"Optimus, I shifted now it's your turn" Optimus shook his head violently. Megatron just stared
"fine" Optimus grumbled. With an ear-piercing screech, Optimus was on his knees, and his back arched. Wings burst from his back, his digits sharpen into claws, denta sharpening too and his peds turn into 3 clawed toes and he grows a tail with spikes.
" How and when have you been able to do THAT!?" cried Bulkhead.
"The how of your question is rogue scientists, the when is before the war," said Optimus bluntly. Crouching, he leaped into the air, flew to a nearby satellite, and perched on it.
Suddenly he said
"you know what? It's too bright" with a wave of his hand, a shadow formed above his head
"ahh much better"
" I don't get why you like the dark so much"
"well, it could have something to do with the fact I can turn into a gargoyle. A creature that thrives a NIGHT, hint hint"
"COOL WINGS BOSS BOT"
"Thanks, Miko". Then Raf asked
"how do rogue scientists have to do with you and Megatron turning into fictional creatures"
"ok imagine you and your best friend are walking down the sidewalk late at night when suddenly 7 strangers, who both of you have never met, start attacking you both shoot you with tranquilizer darts the next thing you know you are in an illegal lab you stay there for a few broons(3 earth months) all the while scientists do illegal experiments on both of you. Also, it's quite painful. By the end of the story, Megatron was on the satellite next to Optimus
"so with that said and done, you want to race?" asked Megatron
"sure, were?" "to that cloud over there, the first one to touch it and come back to this satellite wins. Soundwave can you turn on a three-second timer please?"
