"okee kiddies! im back" nuri announced as she popped up next to jin ling who shrieked in surprise

"EEK!"

"oop-sorry princess" nuri patted his head making the boy blush in embarrassment 

"I'M NOT A PRINCESS!" he swatted her hand away

"yeah yeah sure-oh is that choc ice!?" nuri pushed pass jin ling as she grabbed a frozen treat off the table

"what's choc ice?" jingyi ask as head the other two juniors joined them at the table

"it's a type of frozen treat, basically vanilla ice cream cut into a rectangle with a thin layer of chocolate covering it"  nuri chirped as she handed all of them one

"how do you eat it?"

"just take off the wrapper and bite into it to get to the ice cream afterwards eat it however you want" nuri walked off as she shoved the treat into her mouth leaving the juniors to their own accord

"lan zhan?"

"mn?"

"do you think any of the beasts nuri will show us would be hard to deal with?" wwx looked at his husband with a strange gaze

they both wanted a bit of privacy so they went into a corner of the room where no one can hear them unless they come closer

"ah thank you" xichen accepted it taking a swing as he smiled at the feeling of fresh chilled orange juice washing away his thirst like a tide

"no problem you looked like you needed it, so whats up?" jiang cheng turned back to the table as he looked for something to eat

"nothing really, i just heard that young maiden nuri is back so i came to get a quick drink to clear my head"

"ah right this segment is about beasts to come" jc summarized getting a nod from xichen
