NIGHTMARES VS. REALITY

"COME ON MIRANDA....ONE MORE PUSH AND YOUR BABY GIRL WILL HAVE MADE HER GRAND ENTRANCE INTO THIS WORLD", her doctor yelled at Miranda as she held her baby's head in her hands waiting for the rest of the body to come out.

Miranda cried her eyes out as her last push sent her baby right into her doctor's arms. She grabbed her beautiful baby girl with strong lungs and immediately put her on her chest as the Nurses started to wipe her off.

Miranda cried and kissed her, "Melanie?", Miranda cried.

"Yes MA....she's beautiful", Melanie said as she stood by Miranda side the entire time from the beginning of her labor.

"Will you do the honors and continue on with the tradition of naming our babies?", Miranda asked crying.

"Absolutely ma....... Malaya Nevaeh Warren..... Yup that's it Malaya Nevaeh Warren. Keep the letter M going and heaven backwards for daddy in remembrance of him", she tried to say without breaking down but fell over laying on Miranda's shoulder crying and Miranda just held them both.

"MA'AM....MA'AM CAN YOU HEAR ME?", the EMT guy said flashing a light into her eyes checking her pupils as she woke up opening her eyes slowly. "You were in a accident ma'am. Can you hear me?"

Miranda looked around, but couldn't see much it was still so blurry and then she looked over at Melanie who was bleeding from her forearms and she passed out seeing her baby hurt.

"Whatever....", Miranda laughed turning around to grab some tissues off of her desk. When she turned back around her students were rearranging themselves with purple & gold letters on their shirts that spelled out, 'Will You Marry Me & Melanie?'.

"Your beauty, your brains, your loyalty, your love, your care, your dedication to your students and work and the way you love my annoying little daughter. Everything about you I adore and can never ever get enough. You've always had an attitude with me and that's my fault, but that one day when I thought you were going to walk out of my life I knew when you drove off without me that I could never live without you and never wanted to know what that was like. I love you Miranda Bailey with my entire heart, mind, soul and body and will spend the rest of my life proving that to you and our family. I'm not going anywhere", he said getting down on one knee. "Please tell me you're not either. Will you marry me and that child?", he gestured to his side and Miranda hit his arm.

"Leave my baby alone!", she cried smiling.

"Is that a yes?"

"Yes Benjamin Warren I will marry you and Melanie. I love you both more than anything and these two little onessssssssss......oh shit!", Miranda yelled as her water broke.

"AHHHHHHHHHH", Miranda gasped for air as she woke up again and her chest arched up from the seat. She pulled the oxygen mask off, "MY KIDS AND HUSBAND", she said with labored breathing. "Melanie are you okay baby? I'm so so so sorry."

"I'm fine mama, what about daddy and my brother and sisters."

Miranda was trying to get out of the car, "Ma'am please don't move. We have to make sure you're okay....you hit your head pretty hard against the window to where it shattered. "My kids and husband!", she cried. "I have to get to them plea-....", Miranda begged crying hysterically then stopped when everyone paused turning towards the house as the roof completely caved in.

It was like a blurr to the EMT guy because it all happened so fast as Miranda took off her oxygen again and undid her seat belt, pushing the guy out of the way dart running damn near falling towards a burning house up in the most dangerous flames a person could witness from the outside.

"GRAB HER!", someone yelled because Miranda wasn't stopping. She ran all the way up to the now burning steps and as the house exploded even more blowing everything and everyone near by away from the house.
