ACCEPTANCE & THE CHANGES

"Ahhhhhhhh!", Mina said as she kicked the vending machine. "Mels my candy bar got stuck", she cried.

"It's 4 in the morning Mina you didn't need it anyway."

"But I'm hungry and I wanna go home", she whined.

"Wait and we all can go down to the cafeteria when it opens and get breakfast. Don't you want to see auntie Callie's baby.

"NOOO!", she yelled.

"Why not?"

"Because I don't want her to be born on my birthday", she frowned folding her arms upset.

"Mina you share your birthday with millions of other people why can't you share it with your new baby cousin?"

"NO I DON'T SHARE MY BIRTHDAY.....AND I'M NOT GOING TO", she yelled stomping then running off down the hospital hallway.

"MINA WAIT YOU CAN'T GO!", Melanie yelled after her.

"Yall getting in trouble now!", Milana and BJ both said at the same time.

"Shut up you dweeb and come help me find her!", Melanie said.

"Nope!", they said at the same time putting back on their headphones.

"Uugggghhhhh", Melanie rolled her eyes.  "Don't let GIGI and Miracle out of yall sight and I mean it!"

"We could've stayed home!", Milana said rolling her eyes.

"But we didn't sooooo do as I say."

Milana turned up the volume on her headphones and Melanie snatched them off of her head.

"Don't touch my shit!", Milana yelled grabbing her stuff back and everyone in the waiting room stared at her.

"Oooh Lana said a bad word!", Gianna said and Miracle repeated, "Shit.......shit!", she giggled clapping.

"Yall definitely in trouble now!", BJ said shaking his head laughing.

Melanie picked up Miracle. "No Miracle that's a bad word, don't say it okay.....please!"

"Shit....shit....", she laughed.

"I give up. Here watch them while I go look for Mina", Melanie said giving Miracle to BJ then leaving.

Milana grabbed her tablet and jacket and got up and walked off.

"Lana where are you going?", BJ yelled. "You can't leave me here with the both of them."

And Milana ignored him and kept walking.

"PUSH!", the doctor said to Callie.

"Miranda how did......you do this....a million times.....", Callie said out of breath.

"Haha it wasn't a million times and because once you see her face you'll completely understand....now PUSH CALS JUST ONE MORE PUSH!!!!"

"I CAN'T!"

"You can!", Mark said on the other side of her.

"You got this!", Miranda said and Callie looked down at the doctor in tears and tired.

"Just one more push Calliope!", the doctor said and Callie pushed with all her strength that she had left until she heard a little cry.

"Welcome to the world little Sophia", the doctor said placing her on Callie's chest as she cried her eyes out.

"She's beautiful Miranda!", Callie cried. "I get it now! Thank you and will you do me the honors and accept being my baby's godmother?"

"Nothing would give me more pleasure!...", Miranda smiled as Sophia's little fingers wrapped around her index finger. "Aww her little grip. I remember Miracle being this little", she wiped a tear.
