Mavisa stared at the letter

All of these masked people are men, so why change the system?

It was lunchtime but Mavisa didn't even touch it. She let it become cold.

She reread the letter with so many unanswered questions.

If none can know who she is why she has a camera in her room, does someone is watching?

She went closer to it to examine it.
It looked like it's missing something when she noticed there wasn't the main thing, it was taken out.

Someone knocked at the door, do they saw her?

Mavisa went to grab her mask and opened the door.

An old man was standing and his smile went even brighter.
-"Can I come in?" He asked

Mavisa moved so he can come in, was this even allowed? The man was not wearing a mask or even an uniform.

He sat on the bed and looked at the camera.-"I took it out"

-"Who are you?"Mavisa asked when she realized how she sounded, her voice was way deeper than normal.

-"You can take your mask off I know who you are"

Could he be the one who sent the letter?

Mavisa decided to keep the mask on this could be a trap.

-"Just like your mother,"

Mavisa froze, how can her mother be connected with this?

That when she decided to take off her mask out of nowhere.

He could be the one who sent the letter.

-"Excuse me, sir," Mavisa grabbed the letter that was on the table. -"Did you send this?"

-"You look exactly like her," he said, did he not heard the question.
And there is no way if he knew her mother he would say something like this. Mavisa was the opposite of her in her look, in the genes, there was nothing they shared.

-"How do you know my mom?"

He stayed silent and looked through the room-"I'll join the game,"

-What?"

-"Be nice don't tell this to players and don't kill me,"

Mavisa got confused.

-"Sir, how do you know my mom?" she asked again.

He looked at Mavisa-"Why did you run away a day before your wedding?"

Mavisa stayed silent.

-"Today would be your big day, wouldn't it be?"

-"Big but not good day,"

He smiled and walked to the door
-" Glad you followed your heart" and then he left.

How does he know that?
