Thank you  so much for all the votes and comments!Appreciate it a lot!This chapter hasn't been easy to write. I had three different ideas , chuck it in the trash can .  I do wanted to tell what happened to Jin Joo but I didn't want to drag it too much ( I could have wrote two pages of Jin Joo's   ordeal itself)Apologies for the error as the idea came during writing.There might be a few confusion ( perhaps a lot :))  I was feeling under the weather when writing this but wanted to post it so I can think on the next chapter-what happen to Gaon. I might be late on the next update.

Jin Joo wanted to curse Kim Gaon, of all ideas , this was way above it. Crazy paranoid Kim Gaon!

There  she was sitting at the back of the car at  5 o' clock in the morning, with Chief Jo and Han Soo in front. 

Chief Jo was grumbling from the time she got into the car until the time they got on the open  road. Han Soo was already fast a sleep in the front seat. 

Kim Gaon had called  him again after their talk, he said something was not right  and asked whether it was possible to pick up  Jin Joo immediately and allocate her somewhere safe. Chief Jo groggy at that time asked where was  Judge Ooh.

Chungcheongnam do!One hour drive from Seol!

If it wasn't thinking of the late Soo Hyun, he would have strangled Gaon. Since Gaon's area was out of the way ,he asked Han Soo to accompany him, as it would make Jin Joo more comfortable. 

It was decided that the patrol car would pick up Jin Joo and they would meet at the police station there.

It was when they were driving towards  Seol,  that Jin Joo noticed Chief Jo kept glancing at his rearview mirror.

An RV had been following them  since they left the police station..

Jin Joo looked back at the car mentioned and saw the license plate. " That's funny",said Jin Joo softly .That  car was parked outside her apartment building when she left with the police.

Chief Jo picked up speed and the car followed . Chief Jo ordered Han Soo who was awake from all the commotion  to make a phone call while Chief Jo tried to lose the car behind them around Cheongnyongmaeul-gil, navigating blindly  at different streets in that area desperately trying to shake the RV of their tail. It was harder when there were lesser cars around. 

They finally managed to lose the car in one of  the turnings  in Seoncho area, and camouflaged themselves in a dark  alley  hiding behind two big moveable dumpsters. Chief Jo  quickly turned off the engine and lights. He quietly got out of the car and peered  behind one of the dumpster to see  the RV  passing their alley...and then they waited.  They waited for 20 minutes. Then both Han Soo  and Jin Joo clambered out of the car and quietly walked to the other end of the alley, where lawyer Ko was waiting for them. He drove out of Seocho area, quietly without switching on his lights until they were at the main road and Chief  Jo called saying the RV was following him. 

They switched cars  again in Seol. Lawyer Ko's friend was waiting  for them at Seol's train station  ,  Lawyer Ko took his car  and drove Jin Joo to the mansion. It   was close to 7 o'clock when they arrived. Madame Ji was already waiting for them.

A bewildered  and shaken Jinn Joo was left under her care as  Lawyer Ko and Han Soo drove off.

 Who would want to harm her? She kept asking herself

She handled juvenile delinquents , the worst that she got in her section were gang related, sexual harassment and robbery. Their teenagers! Worst sentence for them was sent  to correctional centers, 2-5 years depending on the crime. Surely, it wouldn't cause them to kill her!
