002: LITTLE ME

i was just a girl. little dreams entwined with little courage. i was just a child, finding way through the enormous callous crowds with cluelessness mingling along. how i'd kill to be back in time. to be small and cherished, unbroken and loved.

i looked for a remedy, never realizing it was always here. the call for self love, my own childhood was my savior. the specks of memoir i kept succumbed in the back of my head, they were my armor. my childhood was my savior.

how did i realize, i needed to be little to feel joy and acceptance. i needed to be a child to dissipate my worries. to fill that empty void that called out to the cutthroat stabs in my bones.

when did i realize, i needed to be little to be free.
