On the Ice

you did it.

Part 7 (again another idea from Vicky, she is very helpful since I can't think for crap) (the Italy game was only shown for like 54 seconds so ah)

The rest of the day yesterday I just spent hiding in my room with my music playing. I didn't want to speak to anyone, but today was different. we had a game again Italy so Adam an I were outside passing the puck back and forth well he was hitting it an I was missing it by a long shot which he seemed to notice because when I sailed it back to him he stopped an looked at me

A- is everything alright with you? after you an Dean talked yesterday you seem off.

I sighed and took off my bike helmet running my fingers through my hair

D- it's Dean! he got mad at me yesterday because I allowed you to help me when I was having a panic attack!

he looked confused as he leaned on his stick slightly

A- why would he be mad about that? an who even told him?

D- fucking Fulton!! I don't even know why he was mad at it! god he makes no sense sometimes an Fulton don't even get me started on him

A-don't get to worked up, save the energy for the game so we can win

I sighed an nodded trying to shake off the angry feeling that was in my chest. Well the time of the game came around fast, I walked with Adam to the locker room an saw Fulton chatting away with my brother. I threw my stuff down an walked over to him shoving him slightly making him almost knock into Dean but he caught himself turning to look at me

F- what was that for dude?!

D- for getting in my god damn business! you are the reason he's mad at me!!

I pointed at Dean who was staying quiet as he got ready for the game

F- how is that my problem?! 

D-because you were being fucking nosy!! you told him so this is on you for not keeping your god damn mouth shut!

while I was speaking I picked up a helmet that was on the bench an chucked it at him hitting him right in the chest, Adam ran over to me fast and wrapped his arms around my waist picking me up and walking me to the other side of the locker room where my locker was. Fulton's face was blank but his eyes spoke it all. Adam was trying to calm me down as I got into my gear, Bombay came in and gave the pep talk before sending us out onto the ice. I was on the ice trying to get the puck from the italy player but they had shot it luckily Goldberg caught it. I was getting pissed, Dean and Fulton were on the ice as well so I could hear them knocking players as the crowd cheered making me roll my eyes and continue playing.  We had won 11 to 0 an the team cheered but me, I will still worked up on the fight with Reed to celebrate. 

We all got back into the locker room an started changing, I wasn't talking as the rest of the team were laughing and talking about the game. I could see Adam look over at me every few seconds in the corner of my eye probably noticing how quiet I was. 

A- hey you played amazing out there

D- thanks. I could have at least scored a goal though

he sighed an picked up his hockey bag along with mine confusing me as I tied my sneakers *she is already dressed*

A- come on I'm taking you somewhere to help cheer you up

I nodded an followed him out of the locker room, we walked all the way back to the dorms and he told me to go change out of my track suit and get into something more comfortable so I took my bag an did as he said.

I brushed my hair before walking back out of my dorm heading over to Adam's. I only waited like 2 minutes before he came out all ready 

A- ready to go?

I nodded confused on where we were going, I followed him out of the building an continue to follow him as he lead us towards this like plaza area.

A- I may have overheard you talking to Connie about how much you love ice cream so I figured why not bring you here

he pointed to the ice cream shop in front of us making me squeal like a 5 year old an smile, without thinking I hug Adam but quickly let go blushing relazing what I had just did

A- I'm glad your excited, let's get some!

he jogged over to it so I followed after him, we both ordered our ice cream before we started walking back towards the dorming areas but they were still a little ways away

D- thank you for bringing me here

A- anytime, figured you could use a frozen treat to help your mood

I smiled at him thoughtfulness before continuing to eat my ice cream, I saw him looking at me again so I looked at him

D- what?

A- you have some on your face

D- wait where???

A- right there!

D- right where?!

A- right here!

he than lightly smashed his ice cream into my face laughing, I couldn't help but laugh myself looking at him as my face was covered in his ice cream

D- that's so cold!!

A- you having a face freeze yet?

he was laughing so much I swear he was starting to cry as he was bent over laughing, i took the chance to smash my ice cream into his face making him look at me in shock with a smile on his face

A- you did not!

D- oh but I did!

he started walking towards me so I took off in a sprint us both still laughing like crazy people as he chased me. sadly he caught up to me an picked me up spinning me making me yelp from the surprise but still laugh. he put me down as we both calmed down, I finally realized how close we were, he used the napkin he had from his ice cream an started cleaning the ice cream off my face.. his eyes looked more blue in this night light, I could already tell I was blushing so much. Once he was done I took the napkin from him an wiped off his face, we both stared at each other before he cleared his throat

A- we should um head back

I nodded back away from him as we both stood awkwardly before walking back, we didn't say anything at first but once he walked me to my dorm I was about to go in but he stopped me

A- D I just wanted to say I um had a lot of fun with you today

I smiled at him with a genuine smile

D- me too Banks, I hope we can do it again

he nodded before saying goodbye an walking off to his room, I opened the door an went into my room turning on the light. I closed the door an turned jumping when I saw Dean sitting at my desk

D- jesus Dean! you gave me a fucking heart attack!

he just looked at me as I removed my shoes, I sat on my bed criss cross looking at him

De- look D I just uh wanted to say I'm sorry for overreacting about the whole panic attack thing.. I should have been happy that he was there for you.. I shouldn't have acting that way at all

I smiled a little showing him that it was alright

D- thank you.. for apologizing I forgive you asshat

he chuckled an stood up holding out his arms. I got up an gave him a hug, we both stayed like this for a little before the door opened causing us to let go an look as Julie came in with Connie

J- oh I hope we aren't uh interrupting!

we both shock our heads no an chuckled

D- you guys are good, Dean here was just leaving

he flipped me off with a smirk before saying goodbye to the girls mainly jules before leaving. my brother is such a flirt
