waking up the next morning, I felt a weight on my chest so I opened my eyes and saw Adam was still laying next to me with his head on my chest. I smiled to myself before playing with his hair which caused him to stir awake and look up at me

D- good morning sleepy boy
he smiled an puckered his lips as if he was asking for a kiss, I chuckled and gave him a kiss before he sat up an so did I. I started to stretch my arms but saw Adam looking at the hoodie so I looked at him which caused his eyes to lock with mine
D- whatcha staring at?
A- where did you get the hoodie?
I shrugged an stood up
D- found it in your closet behind your ducks jersey so I just threw it on, why is there something wrong?
he shook his head sighing as he looked at his hands
A- that's just uh my old teams hoodie, i used to play for the hawks before I met the ducks and we weren't the nicest people to them, bullied them all the time until I get changed to the ducks.. I still feel guilty about it to this day
I swear I saw his eyes gloss over so I sat back down on our bed an cupped his face with my hands making him look up at me
D- I am 100% sure the ducks forgave you or else they wouldn't be playing with you, we can burn this hoodie if you like
he shook his head and rested his head on my shoulder as I let go of his face
D- if you don't mind me asking, why were you so upset last night?
A- it's just everything with my dad, I know I acted like I didn't care when he said he wanted to disown me but it still hurts. he is my dad an he doesn't even want me. he used to call me everyday an say how much of a disappointment I am and how I'm ruining his rep by dating you and all of this stupid shit..
