I woke up around 3am and I was freezing, I looked over an saw Adam still asleep so I stood up and ripped the blanket off Adam making him open his eyes as I wrapped the blanket around my shoulders and started heading to the door
A- where are you going?!
D- it's cold! I'm going to your room to cuddle myself!
he sighed an stood up making me chuckle before we walked inside carefully not to wake up his mom or his brother. We made it to his room an i immediately jumped into his bed and covered myself with his blankets as he joined me. we both ended up falling asleep and I woke up way before him. I carefully got out of his grip a walked downstairs sliding on my shoes before heading back home. I walked in while my mom was making food for Friendsgiving while Scott sat peacefully at the table, I smirked to myself as he didn't speak a word to me. I ran to my room and took a quick shower before getting dressed and getting ready.

I walked downstairs an grabbed some cereal before sitting at the table. Scott didn't even look at me so I was celebrating in my head. Dean joined us not to long after an I chuckled at his bed head
De- shut it pipsqueak!

we went back and forth until mom hit was both in the head with a rolled up Newpaper that was sitting on the table
E- don't start, Dean after this you will go get ready before your friends arrive. Dakota just keep your mouth shut
I chuckled as she went back to the stove, I put my dirty dish in the sink before going to brush my teeth. Once I did that, I sat on the couch an turned on some TV right as Dean joined me. Like I wanna say 10 minutes later there was a knock on the door and Scott answered it
S- ah yes come in!
I turned my head just to see Sam, Tommy, Matt and Adam come in making me sigh as I forgot to inform my mom that I am not speaking to those 3. they came in and Sam, Matt an Tommy sat on the other couch while Adam sat next to me. it was awkward to say the least but got even worse when Dean's friends arrived (not the ones from MN but the friends he had here) and they ran outside to play some puck leaving me with these people. Adam just had his head on my shoulder until the door opened again making me turn to see Philips, Zina and Andrew come in.. lovely even more drama that I don't want. I stayed silent until mom called us all the eat, I am glad we bought a really big dining table or we would be screwed right now. the adults talk an Dean talked with his friends but for us we were silent that was until Matt tapped my hand
M- can we talk real fast?
I nodded an followed him into the hallway so we weren't by any of the adults
D- what is it asshole?
he sighed at the nickname I gave him before speaking
M- look I only acted that way because I have feelings for you and I have for a while..
he was whispering but I heard him
D- you like me?!
I guess I said that a little too loud because everyone from the dining room was now staring at us

Matt looked back an forth between Adam and i until Adam got out of his chair and stormed over to us. I don't know why he did it but it happened so fast, Adam punched Matt right in the nose causing him to fall down as everyone stood up
D- Adam!
he looked at me with fury in his eyes as Zina my mom helped Matt, Andrew was laughing and I could see Tommy holding in one too. Philips stormed over an was raging
P- are you kidding me?! this is how you act?! I raised you so much better than that and now you are ruining my rep!! this is all your fault Dakota, my son was a sweet and respectful boy until he met you!!
I looked at him in disbelief as to why I was being blamed for something i didn't even do, Scott was just smiling making me roll my eyes. Dean got up in Philips's face and started yelling at him
De- quit disrespecting her! I am so over you grown ass adults targeting her over because she is dating Banks! get the fuck over it old man! your life must be so boring if you keep targeting a 16-year-old!

mom was standing up with her arms crossed, Dean just scuffed and looked at her

he walked out of the house and his friends followed, Matt got away from Zina and walked out as well so Tommy followed him while Sam stayed back. Andrew stopped laughing an started to tease Adam which pissed Adam off causing him to shove Andrew, him being the best older brother he is he tackled Adam on the floor and they started to "wrestle" almost knocking over the lamp that was sitting on a table against the wall.
Z- boys! take it outside!
they both got up and Adam shoved Andrew one last time which caused him to hit a photo of our family that was framed on the wall, I watched it hit the ground and shatter all over the place. Adam walked out an Andrew followed probably to tease him some more... I started at the broken glass as Scott started to clean it up
E- Dakota Marie.
I turned to her an she was furious
E- after today, you are gone.
I looked at her confused, my eyebrows frowned together
D- gone?
E- I have spoken to your father and we both agree that boarding school would be best for you.
my mouth dropped open, boarding school?! she left the room with Zina following her and Philips walked into the living with Scott leaving me standing there with Sam
Sa- I know this isn't the best time but um I am really sorry for everything; the fight shouldn't have happened and I shouldn't have stuck up for Chole... I didn't mean to upset you, Dakota... but um just give me a call
she left after saying that and I just stood there. they really are going to send me away? just like that? guess that's how much they really care about me huh?
