2 Weeks later

He was finally fully recovered and was already back in the office. I swear the man was a workaholic.

He had spent the entire three weeks of recovery complaining about being bored and needing to work until we caved and brought him some work to look through from the office.

"Thank you, Ms. Lauder," he thanked me for another file before taking another call.

The phones that had been going off nonstop all morning were finally slowing down thanks to him being back in the office.

I spent all day watching him fix crisis after crisis and it reminded me why I admired him so much as a businessman. He was ruthless and cutthroat when needed to be but he also knew when to apply a softer touch .

"Ms Lauder , my office now please ," his voice drew me out of my day dreaming and I noticed it had been an hour. Shit I had spent an hour day dreaming. I rushed to my feet and tried to look more alert before heading to his office.

"You needed me sir ?" I said composing myself at the door .

"Lock the door and take a seat ," he commanded without looking away from his computer. Shit! Had he caught me day dreaming on company time? I had insisted that he treat me like any other employee at the office despite our relationship and I was already regretting it.

I locked the door and cautiously sat across from him .

He seemed tense .

"I received some good news today," he smiled finally shutting his computer and setting his gaze on me. Oh thank goodness I wasn't in trouble.

"Yes," I said cautiously as his eyes rooted me to the spot and I struggled not to squirm.

"My doctor officially cleared me today," He smirked and I immediately calmed down.

I knew what that meant. We'd been holding off on having sex because of his injuries and we'd both been anxiously waiting for the doctor's clearance.

"That's great news," I said trying to maintain the same cool as him. Of course, I failed and my voice came out breathy instead.

"Come here Love," he motioned for me to come closer. "I won't bite unless you ask me to of course ."

My feet seemed to move on their own until I found myself trapped between his hard body and the desk as he towered over me. I didn't even remember him standing up

"You look delicious. It's almost impossible to get anything done when you look like that," he said as he skimmed his lips up and down my neck.

"Is that why you've been grumpy all day?," I moaned holding onto his broad shoulders. The feeling of his lips on my skin was making it really hard to concentrate.

"You always smell so incredible,"he said continuing his ministrations . " I want to wake up to this scent everyday."

"You are clearly still delirious from all the drugs," I joked and he groaned in response.

I remembered that we had agreed to not have sex at the office but his hands and lips were everywhere all at once setting my skin on fire but It had been too long without the delicious pleasure of his touch and I was suddenly too far gone to think of anything but him.
