This is (Y/N) (L/N). He/She is a (G) with a dream: a dream to show the world what it was like, once upon a time. Using special technology, he/she plans to go back in time to save some of the most spectacular animals that ever existed. Today, he/she plans to rescue some of the first vertebrates to ever walk on land, and one of the biggest fish, that's as hard as nails.

"Hynerpeton, is one of the first Amphibians to exist out of water. Now, they may have been sluggish on land, but in water, they would be great swimmers. Most amphibians today spend most of their time in the water. So, we got this lovely pond for the Hynerpeton to swim in. It will have land, and there will be fish and insects for him to eat. And then, I will go for this beast.

"Dunkleosteous, the largest predator of it's time

"Dunkleosteous, the largest predator of it's time. These fish are of a family of animals called Placoderm, and they are all armored fish. They thrived for 50 million years, and they went extinct. There are no animals that even related to them today! Now, to lure this beast, we'll need to go back to the Devonian Period. That is even BEFORE the dinosaurs!"

The portal is set, and (Y/N) and the crew set off.

Here in the Devonian, life is abundant here. Not on land. There are no animals around to eat the many plants that have grown, so they have grown into massive forests. Trees are all around, and have pumped oxygen into the air. And here, life is crawling out of the water.

"There have been a few other species of amphibians, and Hynerpeton is among them."

Amphibians are known to stay close to water, and damp areas. Here, amphibians are the masters of land, but not water. Here, the fish are massive animals that are the top predators. Hynerpeton must live fast, and probably die young. The animals will be safe, if they could be lured to the portal.
