Pacifica walked along the beach barefoot her soft white feet sinking into the powder-white sand. The blinding white sunlight was only abated by the expensive designer sunglasses she wore that were polarized to block out a large bandwidth of the invasive light so she didn't have to constantly squint in the tropical light. The heat was strong, but Pacifica was thin and lithe and was therefore often cold. The northern climates she grew up around were harsh and unforgiving in the winter. Her flashy purple faux fox fur coat was not just for looks. Though she loved how it made it look. Without much body fat, her thin limbs grew cold all too fast and in the winter she was constantly cold. Therefore she reveled in the sublime rays of the sun soaking up its radiant warmth. That was after she had put on liberal amounts of high SPF sunblock mind you. She was proud of her soft skin and aimed to keep it that way.

Turning to face Dipper she squeezed his hand as it rested in hers. He turned to face her. Pacifica's hair was still wet from the underwater scuba jet. Its voluminous golden blonde had been transfigured to a darker honey-blonde as it was plastered onto her back. It took a long time to dry out but this sun was helping expedite the process. She knew the bright rays would bleach her hair even lighter given the amount of time they had spent in the sun these past few weeks. They had eventually gone to explore the reef.

The instructor was patient with them as he taught them how to use the gear. Dipper being a nerd had already downloaded a digital PDF and read the manual on the equipment. As he skimmed it over on his phone earlier that day she had teased him in good nature. She mockingly put her hands on her hips conjuring up her full jersey girl accent while rolling her from one side to the other making her hoop earrings swing while saying, "Such a dork." Dipper smirked and walked over to her and kissed her cheeks and her neck working his way down her shoulder as he cornered her against the wall. "You know you like it," he said with a deep voice and a mischievous smirk. She had retaliated by pushing up on his shoulders using them and the wall to move high enough to wrap her legs around the top of his hips. She now loomed above him her sheet of blonde hair engulfing Dipper in it. Pacifica said, "Just for that you have to apply the sunblock to my whole body now," she said mischievously biting her lip as she looked down at him. He squeezed her hips making her jaw prop open with a sharp intake of breath. He smirked and said, "I'll try my best to bear it in stride." Pacifica laughed. "We'll put those adroit hands to good use," she said with a twinkle in her eye.

The water had been warm and pleasant as they waded in. Dipper had not been able to keep his eyes off her since she had changed into her bathing suit. She had spent a fair bit of time with Mabel shopping two weeks before the wedding. She reflected on the pleasant memory. She was trying to find one she thought was complimentary to her body but not too revealing. In the end, Mabel had found the one she bought. It was a halter top two-piece swimsuit with a traditional bottom and a halter caged top that strapped around the back of her neck. It left a pleasant plunge down the front as the cage wove across the 'v' plunge somehow making the outfit look more dignified. It was in a deep royal purple too which made Pacifica happy. After she had bought it and got home she tired it on so Mabel could give her an honest opinion. As she walked out of Mabel's bathroom wearing the suit she bit her lip nervously. "So, what do you think?" Mabel raised an eyebrow as her face broke out into a grin. "I think you'll render the dork speechless," she said in amusement. Pacifica brushed off the compliment and said, "but do you think he'll like the way this one fits. It's a little different than my other ones with this halter top thatching." Mabel fell back onto her bed laughing.

Pacifica crossed her arms and narrowed her eyebrows as she frowned at the mirthful brunette waiting for her to recompose herself and regale her with an appropriate response to the question she thought was valid enough. Mabel sat up. "Pacifica, Dipper is my twin, and he may be very different from other guys in many ways, but when it comes to..." she took her hands and drew a figure of Pacifica's bell-curved figure before saying, "He is still just a guy. He may be reserved and polite around other women, but you're going to be married in two weeks and deep down he is driven like any other hot-blooded male. I guarantee you he will not be asking those questions you just asked. If anything his overly complicated nerd brain will be short-circuiting. If you have to snap your fingers or repeat yourself after showing him the outfit for the first time you nailed it!" Mabel had said this with such enthusiasm and confidence Pacifica put aside her inhibitions and let the dilemma go after that. Mabel jumped on the bed. "Just promise me you will text me and tell me his reaction. It's bound to be comical and embarrassing and everything I need to make my day better."  A frown crossed her face. "Just keep the song of Solomon stuff out," she said making a gagging sound as she turned her nose up. Pacifica and Mabel laughed. She was liking having a friend like a sister. Soon enough she would be a sister she thought.
