Continuing from the drama of success party;

Luthras threw Maya out of their house, giving her a strict warning.
Preeta came on terrace & stood beside Karan. After few minutes, Preeta broke the ice.

Pree: moun py tala (lock) laga liya hai kya?

He looked her & immediately pulled her in a tight hug. She was shocked by his sudden action & hugged him back.

Pree: Kya hogaya Karan? Oyee...

She tried to break the hug but he instead of breaking hug, tightened his grip, digging his face in her neck, she shivered. His lips were on her soft spot b/w her neck & shoulder. She clutched his shirt from back while Karan took a deep breath, unknowingly inhaling her.

Both closed their eyes, feeling relax. After some minutes he broke the hug. She saw tears in his eyes & wiped them.

Pree: Kya hua? Ansu kyu, han?
Karan (held her hands): thank you! Thank you Preeta tumny meri bht help ki aj. Aj agr tum police sy cross questioning nahi kartı to....
Pree (Interrupted): to kya, han? Hath to laga ky dikhaye tumhien koi, hath na tor don us ky.
Karan (slightly smiled): itni fikr?
Pree: Han to, dost ho mere. Aur ye faltu ka sad mat ho, mujhy bikul acha nahi lag raha.
Karan: thank....
Pree (Interrupted): thank you bolny ki himmat bhi nahi karna, ek achy dost ka farz hota hai wo apny dost ki mushkil time mai help kary, so mai ny bhi wahi kiya, mujhy pata hai ky ye mera cute sa (pulled his cheeks) Mickey mouse jesa dost kabhi koi ghalat kam nahi karega.
Karan: Mickey mouse??!
Pree (cutely): Han, tumhien pata hai na mera fav cartoon hai Mickey mouse.
Karan (raised his eyebrow): mai tumhien Mickey mouse lagta hon? Chuha bol rahi ho mujhy?
Pree (suppressing her laughter): chuha nahi, Mickey Mouse!
Karan (pointing finger, she raised her eyebrow, he put down his finger): you Dr. Duffer mujhy Mickey mouse bol rahi ho, mouse pata hai na chuhy ko kehty hn.
Pree: Han to tum kyu bura man rahy ho, bura to chuhy ko man'na chahie na.
Karan: oyee....Dr. Duffer, tum mujhy THE KARAN LUTHRA ko chuhy sy compare kar rahi ho, areyy chuha bhi proud feel karega ky usko (raising his collar) mujhsy compare kiya jaraha hai.
Pree: areyy jaoo jaoo, proud feel karega (mimicked him)
Karan: tum kuch zyada hawa mai nahi urr rahi ho?

Pree (moved closer to him & said looking into his eyes): urr rahi hon to? Parr (wings) kato gy mere? Meri azadi cheno gy, hmm?
Karan (sliding hands on her waist making her heart flutter): mai kon hota hon tumhari azadi tumsy leny wala! (leaned to her, looking in her eyes) Tum to mujhy aisyy hawaon mai urti hui, apni duniya mai khush bht pansd ho, bht zyada!
Pree (she smiled & held his hand which was on her waist & made him sit): iddharr aao betho, ek tip deti hon apny dil ki bat bina boly dil halka karny ki.
Karan (confused): Hein kya? Samjh nahi aaie.

Pree (pointing towards sky): wo stars dekh rahy ho, mere sabsy achy dost hn ye!
Karan (seeing her): mujhsy bhi zyda?
Pree: Kya hogaya hai, khud ko stars sy compare kar rahy ho? Un Stars ki Meri life mai alg jagah hai aur tum insan ho, tumhari jagah alg hai. Bhula diya mujhy ky mai kya keh rahi thi.
Karan: stars tumhary sabsy achy dost hain, agy....
Pree: Han... tumhien pata hai na mujhsy apny dil ki batien kişi sy share nahi ki jati except you. Jab tak tum nahi thy na to mai star gazing kartı thi, matlb ab bhi kartı hon warna in starts ko dekhy baghair mujhy nend nahi ati. Aisa lagta hai jesy mere bina kuch boly ye stars meri sari batien samjh jaty hain aur sukoon sa milta hai.

Karan: waisyy Preeta Arora, hamari friendship ko itna time hogaya aur mujhy aj tak nahi pata ky tumhien star gazing pasnd hai, I mean mai tumhien ab bhi thek sy nahi janta.
Pree (smiles): aisa nahi hai Karan, tum mujhy bht achy sy janty ho.
Karan: Aur ye sukoon milta hai, stars dil ki bat samjh jaty hain, ye bat mery sar ky bht uper sy guzar kar gaie hai.
Pree: to idiot mujhy nahi un stars ko dekho, mai tumhien star gazing karny ka keh rahi hon, Preeta gazing karny ka nahi.
Karan (lostly looking her): to tum stars ko dekho mai tumhien dekhta hon.
Pree: Karan Luthra, mujhy itna mat dekho.
Karan: Kyu? Sharm aarahi hai?
Pree (chuckled): sharm... mujhy....wo bhi tümsy.....hatoo yar.... (In mind) ab kesy bolon tumhien ky tumhary dekhny sy mujhy bht zyada nervousness horahi hai.

Karan smiled & moved his gaze from her to the stars.

Karan: kabsy adat hai star gazing ki?
Pree: jab mai 21 years ki thi, koi dal kar gaya hai ye adat mujh mai.
Karan: kon?
Pree: phir kabhi bataon gi. Abhi bari mushkil sy mood light kiya hai tumhara to chup chap betho.
Karan (teasingly): boyfriend tha?
Pree (chuckled): nahi....pata to hai tumhien mera to na koi boyfriend tha na hai, bss jo hoga ek hi hoga jis sy shadi hogi.
Karan: jis mai sy Ashr ko to hata hi do.
Pree: Ashr sy yad aya, kal Aman ko bhi call karni hai.
Karan (smiling): by the way.......star gazing is a good thing yar.
Pree: acha laga?
Karan: ofcourse.

Both were gazing the stars but after sometime, Preeta felt some weight on her shoulder. She looked & saw Karan peacefully sleeping on her shoulder, she smiled & moved his head to the back of couch. She caressed his hair & places a soft kiss on his forehead & left downstairs.

Rakhi: Karan kahan hai Preeta?
Pree: batien karty karty terrace py sogaya hai. Plzz koi thank you nahi bolna yarr Karan ka hi thanks sun sun kar preshan hogaie mai.
Rishab: theek hai theek hai, koi nahi boly ga thanks. Ok?
Mahesh: beta yehi ruk jao kafi late hogaya hai.
Sarla: nahi Mahesh Bhai humien jana hai, subha Phir in dono ny job py jana hai.
Rakhi: lekin Sarla.....
Pree: aunty hum chaly jaien gy, don't worry!
Rishab: thek hai, ap log apni car py jao mai pechy driver ky sath ata hon aisy rat mai akely jana safe nahi hai.
Shree: thek hai Rishab Bhai jesy apko tasali ho lekin humien adat hai akely any jany ki, late night bhi to hum khud hi drive kar ky aty hn.
Rishab: Han lekin abhi tum dono ka bhai aur Sarla aunty ka beta ap logon ky sath araha hai.

Aroras safely reached their home.

Preeta in her room:

Ye kesi feelings hain jo mujhy Karan ki tarf khench rahi hain? Uska touch mujhy comfortable lagta hai, us ky hug mai mujhy sukoon milta hai. Mai us sy apny dil ki koi bat kyu nahi chupa pati?
Kyu...Kyu usko jab koi kuch bolta hai to mujhy foran gussa ajata hai. Uski bahon mai sy kyu nikalny ka dil nahi karta?
Aj uska wo hug (shivered remembering their recent hug) us ky hont mery soft spot py thy, uska chehra meri neck mai & his that hot breath (shivered)
Aj mere shoulder py so gaya wo to mujhy ajeeb kyu nahi laga? Mujhy us ky compliment sy farq parny laga hai. Uski nazar sy mai nervous hony lagi hon, blush karny lagi hon.
Nahi... nh Preeta, Karan tera best friend hai usy crush mat bana apna, lekin yarr.....wo hai bhi to itnaa acha, itna popular celebrity hai but arrogance, rudeness, attitude bilkul nahi hai. Lekin kya karon (cutely) wo mickey mouse mera crush banta ja raha hai.

She chuckled & soon drifted into sleep.
