Ike then looks up to see the mystery titan about to stomp on him as he struggles to get out of the thick purple gel. Leo sees the gargantuan beast is about to step on Ike. Leo then detaches his anchors from the spire and pushes through the powerful storm with his thrusters at full throttle. Leo then extends his arm and pulls Ike out of the amoebic sea before the yellow probe could be trampled by the titan. Leo pulls Ike higher into the air all the way up to the black creature's head. a hole located on the side the 600-foot tall beast's head opens up releasing a swarm of tiny flyers that swarm around Leo and Ike who manage to outrun the flyers by the time the storm has cleared. Ike and Leo then stop in mid-air as the sky turns clear again and the giant black creature has disappeared. Ike asks Leo why he went back and saved him, and Leo tells Ike "I didn't want to save you, but the Professor wouldn't have approved". Ike chuckles and teases Leo, telling him "you're such a daddy's boy, you know that?" Leo rolls his eyes and tells Ike "he's your daddy too you know, he was the one who designed and built the Horus probes, all of them, including you and me. he was a great man who dreamed of purging the world of the cruelty, selfishness, and indifference that permanently scarred the planet Earth". Ike's eyes widen upon hearing this, saying "oh... my... gosh... that means we're BROTHERS!" followed by Ike putting Leo in a headlock and giving him a noogie much to poor Leo's annoyance. Leo pushes Ike away and tells him to get lost before flying off, however Ike decides to keep following Leo. meanwhile a mysterious blue floating creature watches from behind a nearby salt spire. this floater has two arms and gas bladders on its head and body, as well as yellow biolights on its forehead. the floater is also carrying a club in its hands, showing signs of intelligence as it watches the two probes with great interest. we then cut back to Leo and Ike flying over an equatorial mountain range as Darwin IV's two suns begin to set over the alien landscape. Leo turns around to ask Ike "why are you still following me kid, don't you get it? I wanted you to stay away from me!" Ike then tells Leo "because we just met, and I never got to know you. plus you're my brother, and brothers have to stick together". Leo turns away from Ike, telling him "you are not my brother. I have no brother. It doesn't matter if we were both created by the same professor, I still refuse to acknowledge you as such after seeing how immature and irresponsible you are, your actions nearly got both of us killed! I'm going into power-down mode for the night, and tomorrow I will try to re-establish contact with the Von Braun and have a rescue team get us off the planet. and hopefully I will never have to see you again". Leo then powers down and lands on the rocky ground below while Ike just stands still and watches as the two suns disappear into the horizon.
