We then cut back to the night sky above Darwin IV and pan down to see Leo lying on the rocky ground in power-down mode. Ike then lowers and looks down at Leo, saying "It must feel pretty uncomfortable sleeping on the cold hard ground, eh Leo?" Leo gives no response. Ike chuckles and says "oh, I forgot. you're completely oblivious to the outside world when in power-down mode. silly me!" Ike then turns his head to see bioluminescent lights in the distance, which confuses the yellow probe who asks "hey, that's weird. what are the stars doing on the ground?" as he shines his flashlight over the biolights only to see it's coming from a herd of wedge-headed creatures. Ike chuckles and says to himself "oh, It's just a bunch of native lifeforms. never mind!" Ike turns off his flashlight and says "might as well get some shut-eye" as he descends landing on the ground next to Leo, Ike nuzzling up to Leo telling him "I always wanted a brother" Ike's eyes then go black entering power-down mode as he snuggles up to Leo. however little do our duo of probes know that they're being watched as we see the same floater from before hovering behind a gourd tree observing Ike and Leo from a distance, speaking in an unknown alien language (with english subtitles) "it's them! those two strange creatures I sensed floating above the amoebic sea..." before we pan up to the night sky as we transition to a shot of the Von Braun. we then cut back to the colonel sitting in his prison cell thinking about what he's done. we then see an armored guard open his cell door. the guard tells him "colonel, somebody wanted to see you. we then see prof. Barlowe in his hoverchair enter the room, telling the colonel "wee need to talk..." ending our pilot episode on a cliffhanger.
