Chapter 9 - Wishes Fulfilled

Kira POV

As soon as I finished my shift and got home, I pulled my phone out to see what he meant by his 'text me back' comment. It was him who had ignored me originally.

Seesaw: Sorry, KD. One of our producers is back from her holiday today so I need to catch her up this morning. I'd love to hang out after your lesson though if you aren't too tired. Your wish is my command (genie emoji) - I look forward to fulfilling it for you, whatever it may be.

Seesaw: You just blanked me so I think you are mad at me :(

Seesaw: I hope your meeting with Chan goes well. I think there's maybe a misunderstanding about Adora so come to the lab after your meeting so we can catch up?

Seesaw: I knew I was right about Adora. Hopefully that kiss was enough for you to realise that I like you. Come by after your lesson, I know what I want for my wish now too. I can also help with moving your body if you still need it...

I didn't even see these texts. Now I felt like an idiot for how I reacted. I guess I still didn't know him well enough that I had some work to do on trusting him. Or more likely on my insecurities, but for now, I was just enjoying getting to know him. It would take some time to truly know each other past our initial attractions and interests, and I was willing to see it through to find out what this was.

KD: I'm sorry about earlier. I like you too, but I was just feeling insecure. I will come by after my lesson.

I change my clothes into a cute dress and freshen up my hair and makeup for going round to see Yoongi.



I don't always dress femininely, but when I do, I always go for a simple dress because it's the easiest option.

I gather my notes from the last class and head towards the Hybe building. I decide it's best to ignore him for now so I'm not distracted. I actually made some effort and remember more vocabulary this week so my tutor can try and progress me to the next chapter in the book. Which puts me back to feeling out of my depth. I was soon going to fix that. Not having a job meant I could dedicate as much time as I needed to on my studies, so that was my next focus.

I left the meeting room on the 18th floor and headed to the lab. I put the code in and opened the door excited to see him. I didn't expect Adora to still be with him as I walked into the room. The way he texted me was like he had finished his work, so I stumbled over myself to apologise and get out of there as fast as possible.

"I'm so sorry, I should have knocked, I will leave you to it." I spew out of my mouth.

"KD, come and sit down. We are just finishing up here." Yoongi tries to ease my nerves.

"You gave her the code?" Adora says to Yoongi, but I can only just hear her.

"Yes, is that a problem?" He responds with a tone that clearly says we will talk about this later when I'm not here.

"Nope. No problem." She turns to me.
"Hi KD, Yoongi never introduced us properly. I'm Adora, nice to meet you." She is lovely. I can't believe all of the mean things I was thinking about her.

"Sorry, I'm Kira. It's nice to meet you too. Your voice actually sounds familiar?" I'm sure I've heard it but I don't know where from.

She breaks out into singing the chorus of seeaw and I immediately realise it's her voice! It's on some of the other BTS tracks I listened to as well.
