I didn't attend my after party. I let my brother handle it.

Ambot lang sad ug gi tugtan to ni Veronica. Knowing that girl, a very hard headed woman.

“You're in deep thoughts again.” Pal Ringcon said.

And this woman with me, is the reason I didn't attend the after party.

I'm afraid, I might lose her again.

“I just remember my brother's fiancee” I answer.

Nilingi sya nako, “Veronica, diba? Why? Do you like her?”

I laugh, “Yes, Veronica is my brother's fiancee”

I saw her facial expression changed.

“But no, of course I don't like her. She's stubborn and hardheaded woman. Unlike you-”

“What?” nag abot iyang kilay, “What about me?”

I cupped her both cheek, “You're different from anyone. Cause I can be the happiest person when I'm with you.”

She then bite her lower lip. Shit! I miss those edible lips of her.

“I'm sorry about before..” hunghong niya.

“It's okay. I'm happy that you're back.”

She show me her hand, giving me the chance to glance at her ring finger.

I can see engagement ring on it.

“P-pal..” my voice cracked

“I just want to invite you” niduko sya.

“You're engage?” I conclude.

Biting her lower lip, she look back at me.

No words coming out from her but I'm already hurting.

We stare at each other for a long time before she broke the silence.

“I have two good news for you, Anthony.” she whisper.

I partly want to hear it, but half of me don't want to.

“The first one is, I'm engaged”

My world stop spinning for a while. Heart broken and I feel so torn.

Eyes filled with tears, I look at her. “C-congrats then”

She gave me a sad smile.

“The second one is..” she bite her lip again.

I felt her arms around me waist hugging me.

“I didn't understand it, Pal” I finally utter.

Wala jud ko ka gets, kung tinuod ba to iyang ingon or joke ra?

Nag abot akong kilay, “Did you just rap? Please enlighten me. Huyyy what did you say again?”

She planted kisses on my face, but not on my lips.

“It's getting cold, Hon. Let's go inside” she whisper.

My heart thumped. “Hon..” she call me hon.

“I like it, hon” I said, heart beating so fast.
