It's a cold windy Saturday in DC Mae Harris the new intern has her hands full delivering coffee in the administrative block of the White House... She's 22 having just finished her summer term in college.
Mae's dad was an important person in the cabinet and that's what landed her this job for the summer. She hated it most of the time because it was just bringing coffee or printing and faxing stuff ,but her dad really didn't want her to waste this chance so Mae rode with it.
Mae walked through the long halls to deliver her last coffee to Mr.Purt ...As she entered his cabin she shouted, "Good morning Mr. Purt there you are, here's your Coffee and as you said no sugar!!".Mr Purt was facing her back he looked quite thin and we'll built compared to the last time she saw him at the barbecue..."Maybe he's cut off all the sugar" she smiled , "He's a new person now" Suddenly Mr. Purt emerged out of nowhere and took the coffee from her hands ..."Thankyou Mae" he smiled ..He was sweating a ton and seemed very anxious
Suddenly the man infront of her turned and she was quite stupefied to say the least.
He had the slickest hair and the most godly features ever, his eyes were crystal blue and his smile made him the most gorgeous man she had ever encountered.
Mae was just ogling him at this point for a few good seconds which puzzled both Mr.Purt and the gentleman himself.
"Ahem, Mae this is Mr. Thor, he's here for some very important work" Mae was still staring at him as they stared back waiting for her to respond...Before long she caught hold of herself,"Umhh Hello I'm MMmaee Hharriss, nice to meet you Mrr Thorr , now if you'll excuse me" she blurted as she bowed and sped out of the room.The men looked puzzled but the gentleman then shyly gave a wry smile.
At her desk Mae just at there as she reddened almost tearing up in embarrassment "What is wrong with me!! that was so weird, not like I've never seen a man before? I looked like an ape there!" Suddenly the old coordinator Ms Ferrell turns up"Hello there Mae, what's wrong? You don't look right to me.." "Miss Ferrell it's nothing to worry about" Miss Ferrell says "Well I can see that I just saw you make your way from Burt's where he's having a word with the new guest, who's one some very classified work, no one knows about! . Mr Thor's his name right well now I see..." She chuckles..As she heads out"All the other ladies too have been talking about him,he's quite the charmer .... He's even managed to sway the first lady I must say no wonder you're as pink as a peach dear"Miss Ferrell laughs , Mae then rushes out for some air
