QUEEN BILKISU POV My flight is about to take off , I'm going back to the palace and this time with a victory smile on my face "Ammar your doom awaits you" I smirked evilly It was an half hour journey and I've finally made it to gombe. Everything was in place the way I left it and I'm glad I met it that way.

It took me some minutes to freshen up because hell I was so tired and exhausted but I planed to execute my mission today no matter what.
I walked towards his royal highness chamber before I gestured the maids to leaves us alone "Greetings your highness" I smiled at him "Welcome queen bilkisu" he replied with a smile . "My apologies your highness I extend my visit" I said with a sad face
"I'm just glad you're back safely how is hajiya nafisa health ? Is there any improvement?" He asked "Yeah Alhamdullilah she would be discharged by next week" I lied "Oh that's great to hear, you must be tired you should go and rest" he said
"I will but let me make your dinner first" I replied smiling "Umm are you alright ?" He asked with a raised brow "Yeah what did you see?" I asked with a smile
"Umm this isn't normally you an.." I cut him off as I stood up "Hey I'm sorry is just that I'm not used to this side of you" he said I smiled wickedly as I sat next to him "I know I've wronged you all these years and I wanted to amend my ways I hope I'm forgiven" I asked forming some fake tears
"Alhamdullilah you've got on the right path and that's what I've been praying for . It's okay I've forgiven you" he said with a smile "Thank you" I said before I stood up "Let me quickly prepare your favourite dish for you your highness" I said and he smiled at me before I walked out of his room with an evil smile on my face
"Umm you think I would ever change hah over my dead body" I muttered right after I entered the kitchen "Good evening my queen" the maids greeted "Where is the maid in charge of his royal highness diet?" I asked
"Here I am my queen" a lady in about her 60s spoked "Umm I want you to prepare tuwo with okra soup, a chicken pepper soup and some kunun aya drink( it's a hausa traditional drink which is made with tigernuts. FYI it's delicious 🤤)
