"Yes ina" she answered as soon as she left the room in hurry, inna dangerously glanced at her "Well done princess so you've finally answered me" she said sarcastically
Amrita bow her head in respect "I'm sorry inna I swear I didn't heard you" It took inna some minutes before she hissed "have you fetched the water or you went to do your work" upon hearing this amrita heart skip a beat "I'm talking to you and you kept quiet" Ina yelled at her
"Inna im sorry" Amrita said while her body was shivering in fear just then she felt something hard on her face, "so you've grown to the extent that I gave you some work to do and you decided not to " inna yelled as she picked the pestle laying beside the stove "today you must tell me the reason behind you not doing what I ordered you " before she smacked the pestle on her
The sound she made almost woke him up because all the neighbors heard what was happening "shut up your mouth before I break your bones witch" inna venomously spat "and I swear make sure you go and finish what I've asked you if not you don't have any food in the house witch" she hissed and left to her room
she left amrita crying her heart out, though she is used to all the abusive words inna says to her while her father will just stand there and act as if she is not alive and he doesn't have a say to Inna behavior. Slowly, she dragged herself to where the pots are being kept and she picked one before checking her room to see if he is still sleeping, she was glad he hasn't woken up before she left for the river bank

Malam bello muhammad son to malam muhammad mai dawa, his father was a hunter that was the reason they call him MAI DAWA, he lived together with his parents in YAMALTU village which was located in Gombe state. They were fulani, Mai dawa has a wife named Baba larai and she's also in thesame village, it has been 2 years of their marriage before Allah bless them with a baby boy whose was named BELLO and from him she hasn't conceived again, bello grew up with love and respect and he later got married to Aisha saminu whom is known as indo , after their marriage with 3 years Bello's parents passed away.
They live happily with each other , years has passed away without any news of indo being pregnant which really made them to be worried, the villagers talked badly about indo for not being able to give birth which result in indo asking bello to remarry again but he rejected the offer. She tried to convince him and gladly he gave up and agree to her request, that's when he met lantana and got married to her, after 2 years indo got pregnant, everyone was very happy about it especially malam bello.
On the other hand lantana was jealous of indo, days after days finally indo gave birth to a beautiful baby girl but she didn't have the opportunity to glance at her daughter's face, Allah took her away after giving birth.
Malam bello was devastated due to the loss of his first love and wife while on the other hand lantana was very happy about it, the girl was named after her mother but would be called Amrita meaning immortality and also someone with great talent or let's say a perfect moon child who makes everyone happy 😃
Amrita grew up lacking the love and care of both parents, she grew up in sorrow and tortures from her step mom lantana . All these tortures ,her father couldn't ulter a word to lantana because he was under a spell , and through all theses years lantana couldn't give birth. The hatred that increase between lantana and Amrita is the gift of amrita's beauty especially now that she's growing up.
Amrita was well educated on her deen since when she was 10 years old she discovered that she has a gift and that gift was to produce Islamic herbs, amrita has a passion to study but unfortunately her education stopped at the primary school level and unfortunately she was 17 years old .

STORY CONTINUES
As she reaches the river bank to fetch water , her body was shivering in fear and thought of this stranger was disturbing her and he's suffering from fever, after she fetched the water , she went behind some bushes and plucked some leaves and fold it behind her wrapper then she picked up her pot and hoping that inna won't entered her room.
As she reaches home, she poured the water into the water tank and went straight to inna's room to inform her that her work is done
"Inna ive poured the water into the water tank" she said as she turned towards her dad who was busy in enjoying his meal as if no one was there, "Good afternoon dad" she greeted "I'm fyn" he answered
"Oya get up you witch and go beside the stove your food is there" inna said giving her some deadly glares
Amrita stood up and walked towards the stove to get her food because she was feeling hungry ,she went towards her room trying to stop her tears from falling , after she went inside the room she picked a clean calabash in her room and mixed the herbs she plucked in it , she recite some duas in it, as she was thinking of how to wake him up. she tried to wake him up slowly
"Pls stranger wake up and have the medicine I've brought for you" he opened his eyes slowly, their eyes were locked and it made her heart to summersault.
"Innalillahi wainna ilahi rajiun" was all he was reciting and all the incidents came flashing back to his head , he kept staring at her just then he recalled she was the one who saved him.
"here take this you are suffering from fever" he stared at her and back to the calabash and he turned his head away meaning he won't take it "Pls would you take it I don't want inna to come and see us like this" she said and he could detect she was scared.
He began to think who was this girl and why was she talking about inna, he didn't take the herbs nor he talked to her but was staring at her, slowly she approached him with the cup, he took some minutes before opening his mouth and he drank it, the way his face expression changed you could detect that he didn't like the test of the medicine while she was busy consoling him.
"Here have this food and take some rest I will sleep at the corner beside this room by tomorrow you would be well recovered and then he can leave for your city" she said while placing the food beside him while she left the room.
He was surprise by her actions but he has a lot of questions he want answers to, but he left it all behind waiting till morning so as to ask her and he can't really eat this food , he adjusts his position and went back to sleep.
