Analia
"Can we just talk about the plan, please?" I asked, rubbing my temples.
Everyone was going back and forth, and the time we had for debate? Zero. The worst part? Maya needed a way to level 5 without being exposed to radiation.
"Lexa and Clarke made a deal," Bellamy said. "There's an army coming for us, but we have to free the grounders."
"But we need to attack level 5," Jasper pointed out.
Bellamy nodded. "Before we attack, I have to get the grounders out of the harvest chamber. Then we'll open the intake door at the mines. Our people will be there."
To Jasper I said, "Find Maya an oxygen suit and wait for us at the intake door."
With a nod, they bolted for safety. Bellamy lifted the vent lid up, holding it in place so I could crawl inside. My knees had slowly become numb to the pain of the bolted metal.
Once clear of the vents and bathed in the green lights of the harvest chamber, I drew in a deep breath.
What the hell? Rounding the corner of the cages, I realized they were all.... empty. A veil of confusion exploded within me.
Our army is.. gone?
With his gun still raised, Bellamy slowly walked past me, surveying the cages.
There was no sign of struggle. No blood. No clothing. Just emptiness.
Like they just got up and left.
Out of the corner of my eye, a large shadowy figure strode towards us. Bellamy was already standing in front of Iko before I had the chance to recognize it was him.
His expression was grim and my heart sunk when I saw no one was behind him.
"What is this?" Bellamy demanded.
Iko let his gaze shift from us both. "Lexa made a deal with the Mountain Men. Free the grounders. Let them keep the sky people."
I stared at him. My heart slowing at each word. Soon, it was replaced by anger. Our entire plan has crumbled into pieces... because of Lexa.
"Why are you still here?" I asked him.
"They are my people, but that doesn't mean I agree with the decisions of the commander. I'll return with them once you are the safe and this mountain is destroyed."
Bellamy nodded his head, and I even thought I saw a flash of respect in his eyes. "We need to get to the intake door."

With all the soldiers on level 5, there was no tension between the 3 of us as we ran down the hallways, right towards the intake door that lead to the mines.
"Move," Bellamy demanded Jasper and Maya as he swiped his key card against the electrical powered door.
The door opened. But it wasn't what I was expecting. Instead of an army, there was only two familiar faces; Clarke and Octavia.
