Chapter 4 - Let's Go And Call It A Centopus

The best thing that happened to me that day was that I made two friends. My school friends, excluding Helly.

I entered my classroom with Helly. There was a girl in the first row. She had brownish-red hair.

"Salut." she squeaked in French.

"Salut. Que est votre prénom??"

"Mon prénom est Léanna Lebreton."

"Salut, Léa. Peut je appel toi Léa?" Her face brightened.

"Oui, de cours. Mon prénom est ainsi difficile que non un fait du ami avec moi. Ils demander moi mon prénom, pense pour un minute et puis aller un moyen. Toi sommes la premier qui donné moi un nickname. Remercier toi."

Helly sat in my right. I moved my chair to Helly and she said,

"Will you bother to explain me the conversation, kind sir?"

I chuckled.

"She first greeted me with a 'Hi' and I greeted her back and also asked her name. She said that her name was Léanna Lebreton. Then I asked if I could call her Léa?

She allowed me and said that her name was so difficult that nobody made friends with her. She also said that I'm the first one who gave a nickname to her. She also thanked me. Personally, I don't think that her name's very difficult."

She stared around and said, "This class seems cheerful enough."

"Ya." I agreed.

"Oi, get up. That's my seat. I sit there every day." said an anxious, new voice. I turned to see a brown-haired girl.

I rolled my eyes.

"Fine. You'll sit there tomorrow. Today, it's my seat." She frowned.

Then her face brightened. She walked away muttering "Yay, today Shelly is not in her seat."

"Er...Hi." said a new voice.

Well, voices are new today. Tomorrow they'll be a bit recognisable.

I turned to my left seat. Sitting there was a raven-haired boy. He had green eyes like Helly.

"Hi." I said smiling.

"I'm Nelv Drikory. What's your name?"

"Carina Roman. Cara."

"Cara! You are the one of the readers. The first buyer of every book!"

I rolled my eyes.

Yay, I'm famous for buying books.

"I'm a reader. I love books. Do you also?"

"Ya."

"What are your favorites?"

"Um...PercyJackson and the Olympians, Heroes of Olympus & Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard."

I smirked.

"Just 13 books, dude? I read...wait, almost every novel my Rick Riordan, The Folk of the Air series, The Harry Potter series, The Six of Crows and The Crooked Kingdom, I guess. Also, I'm kind-off bored reading The Grisha Trilogy but that's okay." He stared in awe at me.

"Wil-l you be my fr-riend?" He spluttered.

"Yea, sure." I smirked.

"Aye aye nerd!" said Helly said.
