"Aren't you gonna eat?" master said over his shoulder.

I honestly didn't know how to respond.

"oh, I haven't gotten my food yet master" my voice was small.

I heard him sigh and tap his lap twice.

Please let this be a dream.

I was sure he was going to drink my blood!

I forced myself to calm down and gently sat on his lap.

My body was stiff!

Thanks to fear.

I couldn't relax even if I wanted to.

Shortly after, a maid with dark hair and blue eyes placed a tray in front of Xander, bowed and left in quite a hurry.

I also noticed she had eye bags but I can't say I'm surprised.

Servants are treated as badly as pets.

It was Lasagna and it looked mouth-watering.

Sometime later, she brought a smaller plate with a taco.

It might not look as tasty as the Xander's but half bread is better than none.

I took a small bite and silently groan of satisfaction.

This is the best thing I've ever tasted in...forever.

I devoured the Taco in a matter of seconds like a wild animal.

It was so good.

Master was staring at me weirdly

"you're acting like you've never eaten before, not like I could blame you" he sipped from a wine glass with red-metallic liquid.

BLOOD.

I began to wonder how they enjoyed this so much.

Anyway, that's the least of my problems.

I reached out and drank for the nearby glass.

The water felt holy and tasted pure.

Now it sounds like I was born this afternoon but I was partially freed this afternoon so...yeah.

Plus, the water at the pet shop wasn't even crystal clear!

You could see particles in it.

Anyone would react like me when you've not seen crystal clear water in 5 years.

Immediately master finished his meal, we went straight to his room and I headed for the couch.

Master on the other hand was partially sitting on his desk, observing me.

I kept my mouth shut and my head down.

"come here" he sounded serious.

I gulped as I stood up and walked to him.

I couldn't stop wondering if I did something wrong.

I stopped when we were few feet apart.

"closer" he was emotionless.

I bridged the gap not me were only millimeters apart.

"turn around"

I began to panic.

What's going on?

I was a little hesitant.

I felt his cold hands on my shoulder and he roughly spun me around.
