Wetness set into my shoes as I stepped in a camouflage puddle of mud trying to keep up with lazari and sally

" Girls! Don't run off to far! "

" Oh! Let them be! There'll be fine! They're tough "

I wanted to trust clockwork...but she sees things differently then me, the girls are indeed strong but they're still kids at the end of day

" Come out sally! " lazari yelled as she searched for her brown haired friend

I could hear Sally's giggle from about 10 trees away yet I kept it to myself so they could have fun

As I walked with cw I noticed the fog in the air had gotten thicker almost like it was hard to walk through

* Lulu might be around here since she does cause thick fog when she kills *

" Hey lulu! I know your here! "

" Hey y/n...I don't think- "

" AHHHHHHHHHH "

I ran farther in the fog with clockwork as we tried to find the girls

" LAZARI! SALLY! " Clockwork yelled

" What a feast I'll have tonight for sure yes indeed! "

" Let her go! Put sally down! You monster! "

I stopped beside lazari watching as sally hung upside-down by the rake

" Rake! Slender already told you not to come into his territory! "

" Look around clockwork~ Your in my territory "

* Shit! He's right, we crossed into his place without even checking *

" Look rake why dont you just let sally go and we can leave? "

I could see his expression as he was thinking about it. My breath staggering with the thoughts in my head of him harming sally

I let out a deep sigh as sally was let go and she ran into my arms

We started walking away yet I could still feel his eyes on us like a dog begging for food

" Y/n! Move! "

My face hitting the ground first asking my nose bleed as the rake was ontop of me holding me down

" Just because I let the child go...DOESNT MEAN SOMEBODY WONT PAY THE PRICE! "

I grabbed the knife from the side of my thigh which was only there just in case something like this happened

A shriek of pain left the rake when my blade swiftly dug into his thin skin, I quickly moved from under him and went back to clockwork and the kids

" You get them out of here! I got this! "

" Are you dumb- " swinging his sharp nails cw dodged the attacks the children running off back towards the manor

" Go! If I have to tell you again I swear you'll never hear the end of it! "

She took of following after the kids while I steadily watched the rakes movements

Charging to me swinging with such speed and furious energy it was difficult to dodge said attacks

My shoulder throbbed with pain as a deep cut was embedded into my skin

* If I keep this up I might just tire him out but I'm also losing stamina, his speed is unhumane its like it never stops *
