Chapter : 34

That morning of the escape you paid extra attention to Jane's pattern when she came to check on you

Did it change?

You could've sworn that her pattern was off by 5 minutes but seeing how you don't have a clock nor sunlight to tell the time difference perfectly you left it alone

Since you've been taken you tried to recall what sounds or things you had seen

The roof of the warehouse was broken and rusted almost as if water had eroded it. Once smooth floor was now cracked and damaged and the walls were no better

Holes covered the place yet none were big enough to get a good look through. What little air could draft in did, making the place colder than you would've like it to be

Never the less you were determined to get out of here and give Jane a piece of her own medicine

Timeskip

Night had arrived and Jane did her last walk in

Taking the opportunity, you rubbed your wrist together the rope slowly but surely coming off

The air hitting you bruised and exposed skin stung but it was better than having the rope on

Instead of immediately making a run you decided to look around. All the smells you toke in was almost overwhelming

Third person POV

I stopped myself before turning around to leave by the door they always came in through

Why did I think otherwise...the door is locked from the outside

I knew Jane and most likely masky had a key but that wasn't going to stop me at all

The chair was my best hope for escaping

I took the leg of the chair and stuck it in one of the holes that looked more damaged than the others

I twisted it around before pulling it out and it was just as I had predicted...

It was just layers on layers of dry wall

Knowing this I slowly broke the wall until I could kick down the rest without alerting anyone

First autumn breeze was colder than anything I had felt while being in the warehouse...but I couldn't wait I had to start running

No matter what direction, they would find me

" Maksy was right about you! "

I turned to see Jane walking fast towards me with her knife in hand

" You are a perfect specimen for his lord! "

Now I had two options 1. Fight or 2. Run....

I ran as fast as I could my senses being dulled by time in solitude

Jane wasn't as fast as the others but her speed was still alarming to say the least

" Cmon y/n! I wanna see what everyone is talking about! The human who beats proxies "

" Did you do the naming? Because if you didn't your not a very bright soul ill tell you that "

It almost made me laugh in amusement, the visible anger on her face making her look even uglier then before

Running out of stamina I had to stop and fight her

" Finally "

She wasted no time throwing Punches at me along with slashes from her knife

I was dodging a good amount but I was so rusty that I wanted to curse myself

A punch landed me on the ground as she towered over me, knife raised in the air...ready

" After I do this he'll see that I'm helpful and I'm useful, then I'll finally be like her! I'll be perfect! "

Closing my eyes I waited for the swing but it never came

Hesitantly I opened my eyes, seeing the scene infront of me

She had a knife straight through her chest, mouth wide opened

" Hello Jane. I'm so proud of you, I guess victims do take after their killers "

" N-no no no! Your- "

" Dead? " I knew that voice better that I saw his face everyday

A hand grabbed my shoulder gently as another my side

" If he's dead then what am I? And don't you fucking dare say link or I'll take a stab at you myself "

" Guys, contain yourselves. We wouldn't want to spoil ourselves with too much fun " Ej pointed out

" You okay kid? " Jeff asked

" I'm like the same age as you Jeff "

" In human years  "

I heard the heavy footsteps of some kind of animal but I knew it wasn't

Jeff retracted the knife leaving Jane bleeding on the ground, alive but losing it fast

" Jane "

" Slenderman " I couldn't see behide me even though I knew BEN and him were there. Ej was standing on the other side of Jeff

" Who attacked the house? "

" Stripes and Anne. If you think I care about keeping their identity a secret or not leaking info your sadly mistaken "

" Good "

" All I wanted to do was be like her...now it's useless. If you want to know why they did it, I'll tell you. Stripes- "

We all froze as a knife was thrown hitting Jane directly in the middle of her temple instantly killing her. I looked for where it might have been thrown from but no one was there. None of them seemed alarmed at the sudden execution

Jeff bent down to examine the knife

" It's masky, for sure. Only he could throw a knife like that and not miss his target "

" I thought he didn't like zalgo? " Me saying that made everyone go silent

" He doesn't. But what choice does he have besides death "

I was picked up bridal style as my eyes were covered

" Uhh slender- "

" I don't want you to see me right now...not like this "

I felt something wet on his shirt it wasn't like water nor was it thick

" I'm sorry I should've changed from these soiled clothes "

Silence was the only thing I heard as the 5 of us walked back to the manor

Jeff was talking to BEN about something and Ej was quiet I almost forgot he was there

" Bro sally and lazari are just violent! Lazari transformed and slashed my arm "

" They're just hurt Jeff, let it go "

I knew what they were talking about but choose not to say anything

He didn't say anything else to me for the entire walk
