In a distant future magic has been rediscovered. A powerful young witch is the first to remaster time travel and plans to rewrite history. Using her magical powers, Pamela Penally conjure a sea monster to attack the Christopher Columbus expedition during their initial voyage across the Atlantic Ocean. A portion of the crewsurvive the encounter and return to Spain with only a tall tale to show for it. Although a few in the royal court believe the story, most dismiss it and consider the expedition to be an embarrassing failure. With European powers uninterested in funding a new transatlantic expedition, Pamela can now sail across the ocean yourself and claim the entire territory as her own. Pamela become the first explorer to land in the New World, bringing her inherited magic with her. Opening a new age of magic, science and enlightenment. A new world is born. One in which every child his magic coursing through there veins. Her tweaking history has caused a new history to unravel on that has dragon caves, troll lords, necromancy armies and dictators emerge. Pamelas decedents struggle to maintain her will. Non of her offsprings have managed timetravel since. The young member of the family struggled to live up to the legacy.
