Tommy walked into the living room and saw Salem half asleep on the sofa. she looked up at his with a frown once she saw him and the boy sighed.
"what did I do now?"
Salem huffed, "I can't find the fucking hot water bottle. I've been suffering waiting for you."
Tommy couldn't help but chuckle, "I went as quick as I could. I had to get loads of stuff from the shop and traffic was shit." he stated, before opening the cupboard in the hall and grabbing the water bottle, "i'll go fill it up."
about five minutes later, Tommy entered with a hot water bottle, a mug of hot chocolate and the chocolate and ibuprofen he had bought. Salem smiled up at him.
"have I ever mentioned I love you?" she beamed.
Tommy hummed, "yeah but I'd love to hear it again." he replied, placing everything down.
Salem leaned up and Tommy placed a kiss on her lips. the girl smiled as she pulled back and Tommy took a seat next to her. instantly, she wrapped her limbs around him and he pulled her close.
"I love you." Salem whispered.
"I know." Tommy answered, "I love you."
Salem kissed him on the cheek, "thank you. for getting me this stuff."
"of course. I love getting to look after you." he said, cheesily, "still in pain?"
"yeah a bit."
"will pizza make you feel better?" Tommy asked, picking up his phone to order for them.
Salem laughed and buried her face in his shoulder, "yeah. please."
