On this day, 27 years ago, it was like any ordinary day.

A little boy decided to play a game on a bench, in the playground.

His name was Hideki Yuuma.

He was like any young boy. He didn't understand the world, and only lived day to day life, enjoying his childhood.

However, it was on this ordinary day, that he gained a new ability.

After saving his game, he got ready to leave the playground. However, he didn't put down his game, and continued playing while walking.

It was also due to this that he only noticed the oncoming car too late.

That was Yuuma's first death.

However, when he awoke, he was in the middle of the endless abyss, with 4 screens in front of him.

The fourth screen contained a lot of words, and due to his limited understanding of what happened, he was calm enough to read it.

[congratulations!]

you've been selected by the mighty will of Aion to inherit the ability to change your fate and time.

[Aion's Save]

The inheritor has been granted the chance to trap the moments of your life into one of 3 save files

[Aion's Load]

the inheritor has been granted the ability to load any of the save files. loading will allow the inheritor to start over from that save point, and even change the inheritor's fate.

[Aion's Save Log]

the inheritor has been granted the ability to open the system outside this realm. the inheritor is able to assign a trigger word to open the system.

with these three save files, we look forward to your past, present, and future.

may the blessings of Aion reign over the inheritor.

As he tried his best to understand it, he could only relate it to the game he was playing.

Loading his first save file, he realized what this power contained, and it really did change his fate.

...

However, the one in this 10-year-old body was now the Yuuma of the future.

"I'm... really back..."

Putting down his game console, he stared at his hands.

"I..."

Staying silent for a bit, he looked down.

"I can't believe I'm going to have to go through all this again!"

However, as someone who has experienced the many paths that he can experience in his life, his mental age was much older than even 37 years. If it was all calculated, it would be safer to say that he had the age of a man over a thousand years old.

Maybe it was due to this, that he was able to recover so quickly.

Although he was truly feeling hopeless mere moments ago in the dark abyss, he was an optimist at heart. If there was a chance, he'll always grasp and look to achieve it.

The young, black-haired, boy shed a tear for all the years that had gone to waste, before taking a deep sigh.

"Play."
