Willow's POV:
It was a chilly Thursday morning. It was also a very special day for me. It's my birthday! We had just gotten done with morning practice for today. We had walked into the locker room to go change & get ready to go to our 2nd periods, but first Orion had to talk to us like he does every morning.

I had sat in between Ari & Charlie. "Alright y'all, great job today. Y'all just keep on working hard and putting in that effort. That's all for today. Y'all have a good day.", Orion said standing in the middle of all of us.

We were about to dress out until Orion spoke again. "Oh, a reminder. We won't have practice after school, but we'll have a meeting in here during that time. So y'all come at 4:30 after school."

We nodded & continued getting changed out into our school clothes. Us girls changed in the restroom while the boys changed where they were.

For my birthday outfit, I wore a yellow & white striped sweater with denim jeans & my white converse. I also had my hair curled.

As I was looking around the locker room, I thought to myself that nobody had told me Happy Birthday yet. Did they forget my birthday? Did Charlie forget too?......

I then spoke to Julie who was right next to me for some reason. "Hey Julie, do you what today is?"

Julie looked at me like she was confused for a second. "Today's Thursday. Nothing special about today that I know of. Just school.", she laughed.

I laughed a little, but then frowned. Maybe they did forget my birthday.....

I grabbed my backpack & headed out the locker room to my second period class, which was Culinary. I hope some of them might remember.

Time skip to the end of the day

It was finally the end of the school day & no one has really told me Happy Birthday yet. Maybe they don't remember at all. I'm just gonna try not to be sad about it.

Me & Ari were in our dorm just finishing up our homework in silence until she spoke. "Oh shit, I almost forgot about that meeting in the locker room. I think we should get going already.", she said.

"Oh shoot, you're right. Ummm, I still need to finish up a bit of my homework so you go on without me.", I said.

She nodded & got up from her little desk. "Alrighty then. Just come to the locker room when you're ready. I'll tell Orion that you'll be a little late.", she said while heading out the door.

"Alright then girl.", I responded while writing in my journal.

My POV:
I ran a little through the school until I came across the locker room. I came into the locker room to see the others sitting all together & chatting with Orion standing by the locker next to Fulton. Charlie then stood up & walked towards me. "Is Willow coming yet, Ari?", he asked.

I shook my head. "No, not yet. She's finishing up her homework in her dorm. So she'll come down in about 15 to 20 minutes."

Charlie nodded. "Okay good, cause we need to set up her decorations from her little surprise party."

He then turned to the others to speak. "Alright y'all, Willow won't be here for another few minutes, so let's start putting up the decorations. Connie, Sania, y'all go get the cake y'all made in the fridge in y'all's Culinary class. Got it?", Charlie said.

We all nodded our heads. "Yeah!", we all yelled, but not too loud.

Connie & Sania left the locker room in a jiffy, while me, Julie & the boys helped put decorations around the room. Orion managed to help as well.

...

After about 15 minutes, we were finally done. We blew up balloons that were her favorite colors, which were Yellow & Navy Blue. We also put up a banner that said "Happy Birthday."

Charlie got her a stash for her to wear that said "Birthday Girl" on it. How sweet of him!

We were all just chatting until Sania came back into the locker room. "Guys, I saw Willow coming down the hallway! Get ready!", she whispered.

Connie gave the cake to Charlie since Willow is his girlfriend. Sania turned off the lights & waited with us in the middle of the room. I really hope she likes this little surprise.

Willow's POV:
As I opened the door, I saw that the lights were off. "Oh, are y'all really trying to play a prank on me now guys. I know y'all are here.", I chuckled while rolling my eyes.

I then turned on the lights to see the whole team & Orion standing together with Charlie holding a birthday cake for me. I covered my mouth in awe, feeling like I wanted to cry.

Orion then lit the candles with his lighter. "Alrighty y'all, on three. One, two, three!", Charlie said.

"Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday dear Willow! Happy Birthday to you!", they all sang in unison.

I walked towards them with my mouth still covered. "Make a wish, sweetheart.", Charlie chuckled.

I closed my eyes & blew out my candles. Ari had put on my birthday stash. Everyone then started clapping & cheering. Connie took the cake from Charlie & he gave me a huge bear hug, sweeping me off of the ground.

"Thank you so much, guys! I thought y'all forgot about my birthday!", I laughed still hugging Charlie.

"No silly goose. I had told the Ducks and Orion ahead of time on Monday that Thursday was your birthday. So we all decided to plan a little surprise party just for you.", I giggled.

"Aww, I love y'all!", Willow said tearing up, which made Charlie hug her while laughing.

"We love you, too!", they said in unison.

"Also, what kind of cake is this?", I asked.

Sania & Connie laughed. "Your one and only favorite, girl! Red Velvet!", Sania said.

"Yeah, Ari told us that Red Velvet was your favorite.", Connie giggled.

"Of course she would. She knows me best for being my cousin.", I laughed.

Everyone gave me a group hug. We all then sat down & ate some cake while chatting.

...

As I was next to Charlie eating my cake, he then leaned over next to me. "Oh, I also have another surprise for you later. So be ready tonight.", Charlie whispered into my ear, then kissing my cheek.

Hmm, I wonder what Charlie has planned for me later. Whatever it is, I can't wait!
