𝑴𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒚 𝑫𝒖𝒄𝒌𝒔 𝑰𝒎𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔🦆🏒

~𝑺𝒍𝒆𝒆𝒑𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓~

It was mine & the teams first night at our dorms for the Junior Goodwill games in Los Angeles. Most of us had a room to ourselves, while some had roommates. They were optional of course. I chose to have a dorm to myself.

I decided to go to sleep early tonight, because I was tired from practice earlier this afternoon.

I had went to bed at 9:30. About 2 & a half hours later, which was around 11:00, I woke up due to a huge thunderstorm outside. I was sometimes scared of thunderstorms depending on how bad they were. No one on the team really knew that I was scared of thunderstorms.

As I was falling back asleep, the thunder struck really loud that it shook the place. I jumped up shaking in bed.
I wanted to stay in a dorm with someone to keep me company for the night. So I decided to go to no other than to one of my best friend's dorm, Adam Banks.

I put on my crocs, grabbed my phone & slowly opened & walked out the door.

I walked down the hallway 3 doors down & I knocked on Banksy's door.

Adam unlocked his door & opened it slightly. He looked like had just taken a nap. He looked concerned on why I came to his dorm.

"Oh, hey Y/N."

"Oh I'm sorry Adam. Did I disturb you?", I said worried.

"No no no, it's ok. You're fine. Are you ok?"

"Yeah, I just can't sleep because of the bad thunderstorm happening outside."

"Come inside."

I walked in his dorm & Adam closed the door quietly. I then sat on his bed & he sat down next to me.

"So you're telling me that you're scared of thunderstorms?", Adam asked.

"Yeah, but not all the time. It depends on how bad the storm is."

The loud thunder struck again & my whole body shook. Adam felt me shake & pulled me into his arms.

"A-Adam, I'm scared"

"Sh sh, it's ok Y/N", he whispered in my ear as he ruffled through my hair.

"Adam, can I stay here for the night?"

"Of course. You can come stay at my dorm anytime you want. It won't bother me one bit. Besides, at least I have some company when I'm bored here.", Adam said as he smiled.

"Thank you Adam."

"No problem Y/N."

"So do you wanna watch a movie?" You can pick if you want."

"I would like that. But can I use your bathroom first?", I said smiling.

"You don't gotta ask", Adam laughed.

I went to the bathroom while Adam got up & picked a movie. When I was in the restroom, the thunder & lightning struck again & the power went out.

"Adam!", I screamed not too loudly.

Adam quickly went to the bathroom to check up on me.

"You ok Y/N?"

"Yeah, just a little startled that's all", I laughed.

"A little?", Adam said with a cocky eyebrow.

"Shut up cake eater", I said hitting him playfully on the arm as we walked out of the bathroom.

Adam put on the movie & we layed in his bed. We were watching "13 Going on 30", one of my favorite romance/comedy movies.

While we were watching the movie, I layed my head on Adam's chest while he wrapped his arms around me.

"Adam", I said looking up at him.

"Yeah Y/N", he looked down at me.

"Um, I just wanted to tell you that I like you more than just a friend and a best friend. I have a crush on you Adam."

"I like you the same way Y/N. Maybe we can be more than best friends?", Adam said blushing.

"Of course I'll be your girl Adam", I said smiling.

Adam picked my chin up with his fingers & kissed me softly. His lips were so soft. I placed one of my hands behind his head, playing with his hair, while my other hand was on his chest. He traced his hands down my body until he was at my waist. I put my leg over Adam & his hand was on my thigh.

After a few minutes, we broke the kiss. We both then layed back into the position we were in before.

"I love you Banksy"

"I love you too babygirl", Adam said as he pecked my nose & kissed my lips.

Adam's POV
As the movie was still playing, I looked down to check on Y/N since she was so quiet. I looked down to see my cute & beautiful girlfriend sleeping peacefully on my chest.

Trying not to move too much to wake her up, I turned off the TV, threw the blanket over us & moved her closer to me. I kissed her forehead gently & fell asleep next to her.

In my head, I was still thinking about how I couldn't believe that I would end up being with the most beautiful girl in the world. I'm so grateful to have her in my life.
