ℂ𝕙𝕒𝕡𝕥𝕖𝕣 𝟜 - 𝔸 𝕊𝕦𝕕𝕕𝕖𝕟 𝔾𝕚𝕗𝕥

Both the male and (Y/n) went to visit several food shops to taste many delicacies of the city. The male wasn't that fond of sweets but (Y/n) was in ecstasy as she took bites from the sweets they bought. The creamy fillings of the cream puffs they bought had brought ecstasy to the young girl. She completely delve in to the sweetness of the pastries as the male whom she was with as the male giggled silently to the child. He felt warmth in his chest, not the typical love type of warmth that sends off a dozen butterflies flying in your stomach. It was the same as what (Y/n) had felt when she took in a child from the streets. He admired her silently as the girl silently munch and savor the taste of sweets.

(Y/n) noticed that the male wasn't eating anything from the pastries they bought since the beginning of their mini adventure. She took one cream puff from the box and handed it to the male inviting him to eat with her. Saying that she couldn't help herself that she is the only one who was eating while the other was only staring at her eating in delight. The male obliged and happily took it from her petite hands, he assumed that cream puffs were too sweet for his liking yet when he took a small bite, it wasn't that bad at all. Both of them exchanged smiles as they continued to enjoy their delicious sweets.

"May I take my leave for a while?" the man stood.

"Where?"

"Nature's calling" he smiled. The girl muttered an 'oh' and nodded then the male went to the toilet a few meters away from there they were at. She decided to take a stroll by herself for a bit. Thinking of buying a bit of food to stuff the refrigerator, she remembered that it was almost empty.

It didn't took her too long to buy what she needed so she went back to the spot where she sat a few minutes ago. The man haven't arrive yet, so she took a bit of her time to go to a shop where she spotted a while ago to buy an item that she took interest in, thinking that this will be a good gift to give to the man to show him a bit of gratitude for inviting her to set her mind away from the bloodbath from her mission earlier, although that man didn't know that.

"Good afternoon miss, how may I help you?" a staff member of the shop greeted her. The girl eyed her silently then timidly smiled at the female staff as (Y/n) simply walked in to the shop. She didn't utter a word, just pointed at the item that she wanted to buy. The female employee hunched that she wanted to buy that item, yet still confused and wanted to assure herself so she decided open her mouth to ask her politely, "Is this the item you wanted to buy, miss?"

"Yes"

They both sat at the bench where they both first encountered one another as they look at the Yokohama Bay Bridge brimming with the night lights. The sky painted a dark shade of blue and purple as the city continues to embrace the darkness of the night as the artificial lights gave support to the people's sight to see where they are headed. They finished eating sooner than anticipated. Didn't realized that (Y/n) had her guard down to a stranger she had met hours ago. She felt safe in his company as he felt the same but both are oblivious that they mutually share the same sense of comfort and safety.
