Monday is here again, where everybody dresses smart and act like they know what they are doing, then they come to the road to horn their lives out. I'm tired of these 10 minutes weekends can't we get something longer?!!

Turning my back to see my Mom at the door, "Good morning Mom" I said, arranging my bag for school
"Hope you slept well"
"Yes Ma"
"You know, you can stay at home if you want too"
Like seriously??
"Thanks, Mom I'll be going today"
"Baby?"
"Yes Mom"
"Is something wrong?"
"No Mom"
"Mom Good morning!" Maris greeted barging inside
"Morning Maris, you're ready for school?"
"Yes Mom, and I'm glad to see her ready for school too, without a fight of course"
"Let's get you, kids, to school, shall we?"
"I'm not a kid Mom" Maris grumbles
I just couldn't help but ask "Then what are you? a Hippo? or an Elephant?"
"Would you be glad to have a Hippo or an Elephant as your sister?"
"Yeah as long as she isn't dumb like you"
"Enough girls...Get in the car"
"Would you be driving us to school?" Maris asked
"What does it look like?" I asked Maris
"For God Sake Channelle! I wasn't asking you. Mom are you? "
"What does it look like?"Mom asked Maris
"It was just a question Mom that required Yes or No" Maris said quietly opening the door to get in.
