February 1981

"Xenophilius!" Pandora shrieked as a pain shot through her body, "Xenophilius!"

In a second, the door flew open and Xenophilius and Adora were by her side.

"What's wrong?" Xenophilius asked, grabbing her hand.

"It's time," Pandora gasped, "the baby's coming."

"Holy shit," Adora swore, "it's time?! I'll go get the bag!"

"It's time?" Xenophilius's eyes widened, "are you sure."

"Pretty sure, Lovegood," Pandora said through the pain of a contraction, "help me!"

"Ok, ok," he said quickly, lifting her into his arms.

He rushed down the staircase, "Adora! Meet us there."

"At let everyone know!" Pandora called.

"Ok!" She yelled back, "I'm right behind you."

"Are you ok to Floo?" Xenophilius asked.

"Yeah," Pandora breathed.

"Brilliant, I've got you, hold on."

She fastened her arms around his neck and he stepped into the fireplace.

"St Mungo's!"

"I want a private room," Pandora whispered as Xenophilius lowered her into a chair.

"I'll see what I can do," he promised, "wait here while I check you in."

They arrived at the hospital at 12:21 in the morning on February 13th, 1981.

Pandora Black began pushing at 1:32 am.

A baby girl was born at 2:13, on 2/13/81.

"I did it," Pandora laughed through tears.

"It's a girl," Xenophilius sniffed, kissing Pandora's temple, "I'm so proud of you."

"We'll give you two a minute," Adora smiled, ushering everyone out of the room.

"Do we have a name?" The Healer asked.

Xenophilius and Pandora shared a look.

"Not yet," Xenophilius said.

"We'll just call her baby Lovegood for now," the Healer smiled.

"Is that ok?" Xenophilius asked hesitantly, "for her to have my last name."

"She's yours too," Pandora smiled down at the baby, "she'll have your last name, but, I'd like to name her."

"Very well," Xenophilius agreed.

"Luna," the baby opened her bluebell eyes, "Luna Noira Lovegood."

She looked up at Xenophilius, "is that ok?"

His eyes were watering, "it's perfect, our little Luna."

"She's so small," Pandora breathed, "I didn't know a baby could be so small."

"He'd be so proud of you, Dora," Xenophilius squeezed her hand.

"Yeah," Pandora sighed, "he would be....here....do you want to hold her?"

He nodded, "please."

"Here, sit," Pandora make room for him on the bed.

He sat down beside her and she placed the baby gently in his arms.

"I can't believe in a dad," he grinned, "thank you Pandora."

"Why're you thanking me," she giggled.
