I opened my phone, seeing a few notifications.
A-A lot of n-notifications...!
I could see in the small window that there was a certain tag repeating over and over.
I opened up the Twitter trending page.

Confused, I go to the last tweet I made.

Filled with anxiety, I started scrolling.
There were a few song requests, but one tweet popped up, getting likes and retweets by the SECOND.

Tommy and I just finished our SMP Lore streams. We decided to stay and chat on discord for a while.
"OH. MY. FLIPPING. GOD."
He screeched.
"What is it?"
I looked at his expression in the face-cam.
"Look at Twitter trending!
A random girl is about to go live soon and everyone's excited about it!"
"I... don't get it. What's so exciting?"
I raised an eyebrow, opening Twitter.
"She is going to cover a song of yours!"
Tommy continued.
"Oh, that's nice. I am happy to inspire other peopl-"
"Like, LIVE! Hearing it for the first time! Rewriting the lyrics! LIVE!"
Tommy insisted.
"#YourNewGirlfriend is trending! It climbed to the 4th place in trending!"
"WHAT?! COVERING IT LIVE?! No way."
I said in disbelief.
"Everyone's excited because she apparently has a great voice..."
"I'll be the judge of that. Let's listen to what she has."
I settled on my chair.
"Well, her live is starting RIGHT NOW..."

Everything was prepared for the live.
As I so the number of people waiting...
I started freaking out.
Can I really do this...?
I shaked my head.
...I can. Let's do this.
I picked up the guitar, made sure my head was out-of-frame and started the stream.
"H-Hello everyone...! My favourite dummies and our new dump-stars!
I-I hope you are doing alright..."
My voice was shy, a little quiet.
I tried to hide any sign for anxiety, although the nervousness was eating me from the inside.
"I, uh, as you know, am going to cover a song. By, uh, 'Wilbur', I think it was.
Lemma just open it...
O-Oh! A donation? T-Thanks!
I completely forgot about it...
I have no idea how to turn it off...
I don't feel comfortable taking money right now, it's my first stream...
I, uh, will donate what I get to a cancer charity."
I bit my lip.
Why am I so nervous?!
"My name and how do I look like?

I responded to the chat.
I split my screen-share to two.
On one side, I opened the song. On the other, I opened a 'word' document.
I quickly searched up the lyrics, copying them to the document.
"A-Alright. So this is what we'll do.
I'll listen to the song once since I never heard it. Then, we'll listen to it again and see how we can change the lyrics.
Then we will search the chords, and I'll see what melodic changes I can do to spice the song up. Are you ready, everyone?"
