I held that paper I worked so hard for in my hands as I got off-stage as quickly as I could possibly go.

When I was at a place that fell empty enough, I leaned down, sitting against the cold, grey brick wall, my breathing is quick and twisted in panic.

I thought I could handle that.
I really did.

But all eyes were on me and I-

"W-Woah, Dummy, are you alright? Do you want to get away from the crowd?"
I heard a familiar, calming voice.

A hand reached to help me up.
The grip was firm yet friendly.

"W-Wilbur! You came!"
I tried to smile, straggling not to shake.

"Of course I did. Now, I recommend you take a deep breath."

I nodded, doing as he says.

"I... think I'm better now. Let's go to my place, shall we? I have cookies!"

Wilbur chuckled.
"Let's go. Here, let me carry your bag."

"I- uh- you don't have t- ...a-alrighty then."
I tried to stop him, but he insisted, taking it anyway.

"So, a computer science degree.
That's lit."
He motioned at the paper I was holding.

"I think I saw a shy girl with a cool name and a guitar pick like yours around her neck getting the same degree."

"Yap, the name's Y/n."

"Hmm... that's a beautiful name and all, but... your face isn't out of frame... are you sure that you are the 'Dummy-Star'?"
He joked, and I bursted in laugher.

"Stop showing off your social skills, Wil."
I playfully pushed him with my elbow.
I proceeded to make a turn, entering a building. Wilbur followed me to my apartment. Since it was on the ground floor, I had a yard.

I opened the door and we went inside.
He put my bag down, admiring the place.

"FINALLY. We are alone."
I muttered.

"Creepy..."

"Pfff- you know what I mean!"
I quickly defended myself as I went to get the cookies.

"Wilbur, coffee or tea?"

"Haven't had these in YEARS!"
W

ilbur exclaimed at the cookies as I put everything down on the table.

"A week ago I got lost in the store and went down the cookie isle and I felt nostalgic so I bought them."
I shrugged, sitting in front of him.

G-Gosh, the way his curles fall on his face looks even more cute in real life...

"Hmm? Something's on my face?"

"Uh, n-no, just zoned out for a second."
I said nervously.
"And... sorry. About earlier.
I don't do well with crowds."
I looked aside.

"It's alright, Y/n. I get it. Everyone reacts differently in those situations.
No one can blame you for being like this."
He replied softly, looking into my eyes.

My heart skipped a beat. I raised my mug to drink, trying to hide my blush.
We continued our small-talk for about an hour, until...

"You said you have a song you wrote?"

"O-Oh, that? Yes, I have."
I was surprised he remembered.

"It would be nice to hear it if you are comfortable with showing me it."
Wilbur requested carefully.

...
"I think I am comfortable enough...
It's nice to know that you are nice and genuin IRL."
I admitted.

"It's nice to know that you are beautiful on the outside as much as you are beautiful on the inside."
He grinned.

He's probably kidding.

"Pfff- s-shut up, you are going to make me too flustered to preform the song!"
