Ezra POV

The lights started turning back on.

"Look, the lights are turning on." Kyle said.

"It's about time..." I said.

"Ezra, I'm pretty sure the staff was trying their best to get the lights back on." Ava said.

"I guess so." I said.

"Anyways, we should go back to the stage. Maudie's probably still there." I said.

They agreed and we started walking to the stage.

Today has been interesting...

We discovered we had psycho fans from the children's hospital,

Maudie was a savage,

A brownout happened,

Kyva is official,

Kyle was a snitch,

Ava knows I like Maudie,

And now were going to the stage to look for her.

This has been some day.

"So Ezra, what do you like about Maudie?" Ava said as she cheekily smiled.

"Shush Ava, Maudie could be listening right now." I hissed as i nudged her arm.

"That's unlikely." Ava said.

"Whatever..." I muttered.

It was a silent walk to the stage.

We finally got to our destination.

We saw Maudie, sitting down on a chair.

Staring into blank space.

She looked really, really worried.

I ran over to her.

"Maudie! Are you okay?" I asked as I reached for her shoulder.

"Y-yeah, I'm fine. I was just a bit worried about you guys." Maudie said.

"Sorry for running away and making you feel worried." I said as i kneeled down on one knee.

"No, It's fine. Everything is fine now." Maudie said.

Maudie had a very panicky and confused look.

She looked kinda traumatized.

"Are you sure your fine?" I asked.

"Yeah, I promise." Maudie smiled.

I smiled back.

Ava and Kyle walked over to us.

"Maudie, are you okay?" Ava asked.

"Yeah i am." Maudie said.

"Good, because i have something to tell you.... Kyle and I are-" Ava said.

"Official." Maudie said.

"How did you-" Ava said.

"Doesn't matter how, she just knows. Were talking about Maudie after all." I said.

"Thanks." Maudie said.

"Welcome." I smiled.

"Speaking of being official, when will you guys be official?" Ava asked with a smirk.

"Never." Maudie and I said in unison.

"We'll just see about that." Kyle said.

Kyle and Ava high fived each other.

"I regret setting up you two now." Maudie joked.

Ava giggled.

"The biggest downside is that everyone left.." Maudie said.

We looked around.

The room really was empty.

The audience had already really left.

We all sighed.

"Well this show was a bust." Ava said.

We all agreed to Ava's statement.

"Its really sad though, we've been waiting for this day all week and a brownout happens.." Maudie said.

We all nodded.

Hallen and Harriet suddenly came in.

"How's everyone?" Hallen asked as they walked over to us.

"We're fine, Thank you for asking." Ava said.

"I am so so so sorry for what happened today." Hallen said.

"Its fine, it was just a small incident." I said.

"What did happen to the lights?" Maudie asked

"Rats were chewing on the wires that powered all the lights." Harriet said as she crossed her arms.

"Rats, our mortal enemies." Kyle said in a serious tone.

"Kyle, no time for jokes." Maudie said.

"Sorry." Kyle said.

"Again were so sorry, what can we do for you guys to make it up to you?" Harriet asked.

"A ride back to our place would be nice." Maudie said as she slowly formed a smile.

"I got it." Harriet winked.

"I suppose you got this, Harriet. I need to check on the staffs progress of getting rid of the rats." Hallen said.

"Yup, I got this." Harriet smiled.

"Okay good. Tell me if anything new comes up." Hallen said.

Harriet nodded.

"Come one guys lets go." Harriet said.

She started walking and we followed her.

I'm still worried about Maudie though.

She doesn't seem like her usual self...
